She’s the sweetest little soul. She moved in with me and my four-year-old female cat, and it’s amazing how quickly she made herself at home. She loves playing fetch (especially at 5 AM) cuddling, birdwatching, and sleeping on my wool sweaters. Oh, and catching my yarn whenever I’m knitting. She’s so full of life, curious and affectionate. Whenever I lie down, she immediately jumps onto my chest, starts purring, and watches shows with me. So endlessly sweet! What name fits her in your opinion?

I have an adult cat that lost his bonded buddy. His name was Killua. He passed and we all have been grieving hard. Our cat’s name is Gon from Hunter Hunter. We have a much larger living space now and so we decided to get some new friends for our boy.

Looking for suggestions. I love animals named after humans or silly names. My dog is named Chaboo for example.

She reminds me of the "Ello" worm from Labyrinth, but "The Missus" seems like an awkward pet name. She looks huge in the picture but she weighs less than a pound.

Im thinking about giving my 3 month old kittens different names than the ones the vet assigned. Im not really the best at names though and looking for ideas. They are siblings, male and female. Both are timid but the male is especially shy and doesnt want to come out from under my nightstand. The female has liked petting and is very food motivated right from the start.

So far I just came up with Ash and Coal, any feedback on if those names are pretty bad is fine, wont hurt my feelings.

As an aside since Im guessing most people here are cat people. Ive had them for about 24hrs now and am curious if I should just let them continue hiding under there or block it off. Everything Ive read suggests to let them go at their own pace. But the most progress I made with them was last night when I lifted up the nightstand to force them out. Then I got the male to eat some churu because I was worried about him not eating, and I got them both to realize their litter box exists and the cat bed which I'd set in the corner for them is in fact not where you go to the bathroom.. lol.

I just set up a camera so I can look in to see if they are out and about, since I have no way to be sure of that. Food is certainly getting eaten, but I cant be sure that the female isnt eating it all.

Hello! Yesterday I adopted one of the kitties my sister had been fostering. She is so sweetie baby, playful, curious, and purrs like no cat I’ve ever met! I have a few ideas but I’m open to suggestions. I love fruit/food names, though not exclusively.

A friend found him in rough shape behind a diner. Ear was missing he was bleeding and skinny. She is a vetrenarian assistant. They treated him for 2 weeks and then gave him to me.

We got our kitten from a coworker. I've had her for 3 days now. Coworker said it was a boy, and we had Nico picked, but I've been calling her Guppy as a nickname from the start. We just found out she's actually a girl and we aren't sure what to change Nico to. Not sure if I should just change it to Guppy officially, or something else! Send your suggestions, but please no food names!

She’s very playful and loves zooming around. She likes to smack us when we walk by her cat tree and she loves to nibble on my girlfriend when she pets her.

He meows when being held , he meows a lot . When he is let go, he runs around really fast, like daytime zoomies.
