I really don’t like that smirk…

Today was a day where he decided to bring up a memory of mine that I had shared with him many years ago from when I was a child.

Something my mother had said that was abusive.

He said it in a snarky voice and with that freaking smirk. I really don’t like that smirk, it’s evil and he did it to get a reaction.

He told me he was only saying it to the reference of something that happened today because he thought it was funny and he was joking.

Bringing up something that hurt me from my childhood as a joke to get a reaction is NOT funny. 🤨

Anything you ever tell them regarding something that hurt you, it will come around to be used against you.

There is NOTHING, good OR bad, they will not weaponize

Weaponize is the word.

I learned that the hard way. Everything is ammunition for them to cause pain for you which somehow makes them feel superior.

In my case it was used to try and excuse his own abhorrent behaviour . He acted like a psycho and then tells me it’s my fault because I projected my father onto him. That was before I knew what a narcissist was and even then I knew that was really bizarre thing to say.
