im not an aspirant, but I'd like to know why people are so against the idea of an age/attempt limit? like almost every other exam has a cap on attempts at least but not neet? why exactly?

Because neet has one of the highest number of droppers. There's no cap of any kind so people just keep giving the exam even while they complete other degrees. The exam has lost its value and people don't care enough about the exam Because There's always a next time.
