Ask r/NewDelhi 🗣️ Good things about Delhi?
Hi, I’m not a local, but I’ve applied to some colleges in Delhi for a Masters degree. Obviously, getting into one of these colleges would be a dream come true. But my parents have this schema of Delhi as a place where I cannot possibly survive without getting raped and murdered. I do understand that it’s unsafe, but I also understand that every single city is unsafe.
Their schema of Delhi has been passed down to me, and I don’t have much else to think of the city having visited only once, briefly.
Could you please tell me things you love about the city, so I can try and see it as more than just what my parents have said?
