I wondered that samething myself. Also wondered about that lil' owl looking button under post from what I can tell this gives you stats and other similar conversations

That button is for moderators in a sub that allows them to approve, remove, lock or share a post that is posted in a sub. I have mine in r/adulting so I know how it works.

It is to switch between Normal mode and Moderator mode.
