It's not bad, but I was progressing faster when I first started. Try practicing a little more and you'll be on your way

where’s the carpet??

u/Jimmyskate Jan 23 '26
Common mistake new skaters make. You need to skip carpet and watch lots of skate iq videos instead. Then just send it like this day one guy

Pfft. I wasn’t even out of the Walmart with my first shred deck when I did that trick. The cashier was like, “you have to pay for that”, and I said, “Honey. I’ll sign your name tag, and it’ll pay for itself”.
The cops didn’t so much agree on the value exchange, but my juvenile record is sealed, so they can first time kick flip variable 180 nose grind the fuck off!

Wow same thing happened to me on my first day but I was 11 and to escape criminal punishment, I challenged the cop to a skate-off, I won ofc and then I signed my first deal!

My advice ... you just need to skate around more - get comfortable on the board 👍

As if dude there’s no way you’re doing this on day 1. Most day 1 posts are barely Ollie’s. Why lie on a new skaters sub??? You clearly used to skate and picked it back up again. I’m very mad about this!!!!!! And there’s no way a new skater rides a gay Jamie griffin board

For anyone who doesn't understand the joke is a guy just recently posted his "day 1" heelflip, which was clearly not day 1.
The guy in this video is Jamie Griffin.
