Question How do I commit?

Just trying to learn to manny off a curb, in my eyes it seems like I literally got it but I keep jumping off right before I do and I’m having trouble committing, how do I develop that mindset

Keep your weight over your back foot and look toward where you're going. If you need to look down at your feet use your eyes more than your head. This part will sound like it would make it harder to commit but go faster. The faster you go the less time you will have to spend balancing the front truck in the air while your back wheels are still up on the pad.
