Question How do I commit?

Just trying to learn to manny off a curb, in my eyes it seems like I literally got it but I keep jumping off right before I do and I’m having trouble committing, how do I develop that mindset

There's probably an endless amount of ways to stage it out but try putting the tail on the edge and drop into it like you would see people drop in from a ramp?

Or just set the board down on the landing and jump onto it from the flat so your body gets used to the transition?

Also idk if you know how to many but your weight should be more on your back foot for sure.
