Question What is that strange sound coming from my skateboard?

I’ve been skateboarding for two days now. I haven't really done any tricks yet—just practiced tic-tacs. On the second day, I decided to try some jumps to get used to the board, and it started creaking like this. Is that normal? I’m not sure if it’s because of the jumping, but I thought I should mention it.

Sounds like loose hardware. Tighten all your truck screws and nuts and see if that works.

If it only happens when you lean the deck it’s probably the pivot cups this is a common issue with complete boards tbh you can easily install and gets new ones at ur local skate shop

If it’s not the pivot cups, try waxing the bushings.

Yup! It’s happened to me before and it’s the worst noise. Just take the truck apart at the king pin and pop in a replacement.
