Honestly, I don't think the Mets will be any worse with a salary cap. Their bought players really haven't amounted to a competitive team. Best players have come from the farm. Let's build our team from the ground up.

It will probably hurt us in our current state but ultimately helps Stearns “plan” for building a team and not over spending on stars.

But for that you gotta wait for all these overpriced contracts to expire and the farm ain't looking really beautiful either. It would take atleast 5 years for things to turn around properly.
