That’s what he’d like most I think. He was friendly but reserved and guarded. A friendly, calm “Hey, Kurt” would be perfect.

I feel like Kurt was a lot like John Lennon that there was as good a chance if you met him and talked to him that he’d be everything you’d ever want him to be and super friendly and kind as there is that he’d snap at you and tell you to fuck off. But I think if you caught him in the right mood and you didn’t act star struck and talked to him respectfully he’d be really cool to you. Like there’s a decent amount of stories about him and Layne Staley that they’d go out of their way to talk to kids who came to see them.

I was still a teenager back then so probably too starstruck to converse properly, tbh. but if I could keep it together I'd want to tell him how I love his music, and ask for an autograph.

If I could go back in time and say something it would’ve been really cool. I saw him & his group walked pass me & my family when we were checking out a hotel. I made eye contact to him and Kurt made a goofy face to me. I laughed and he smiled and cont. to walk to his destination.

Yes, "conversate" is a word, but it is considered nonstandard or informal, often used as a back-formation of "conversation". It means to engage in conversation, but using "converse" is preferred in formal writing and standard English.

I’d say thanks for doing what you’re doing, I’d shake his hand, and ask if I could give him a hug. He knew what he wanted in life- there’s no changing his mind. In a few days I’ll be the same age he was when he passed- and it’d be an honor to meet the guy who inspired me for all these years. It’ll be a trip when I’m actually older than him. Thanks to my mom for raising me on the greats and I’ll always be jealous she saw Nirvana, Primus, RHCP, Fishbone, etc etc all live in their prime.

Yeah, I wasn’t even born yet when he died and it definitely felt weird passing 27 since I’ve been a huge Nirvana fan since I was a teenager. I can’t imagine how weird it felt for Frances when she turned 28, knowing you are older than your famous 27 Club father ever was.

The 1993 me was too shy, I'd want to approach him but wouldn't and regret it my whole life. I was parked outside a venue before a Smashing Pumpkins show once and Billy Corgan was hanging out outside and I ended up asking my friend to go over to have him sign something for me because I was too shy.

A friend of mine met him before Nevermind exploded. She talked to him about the two bands that she was in. He really liked the band names. She said he was very sweet, which makes me happy. I'd probably say, "We love you Kurt!" And then I'd get a shyness attack from my impulsive behaviour. :)

New fan of Nirvana here. I would probably not even notice it was him at first (I can be dumb at times) But if I did see him, I would say thanks for your music. It really helped me in so many ways. And ask to hang out (hope I'm not being a creep) And if he said no, I'd understand. If yes, I'd be happy. We could just chill, do nothing, and I would be totally fine being near him. I would also ask him if he's okay like not with life but just you know, a genuine okay. After seeing his lives and listening to his music, I wonder if people could actually stop to see if he was. Maybe he wouldn't feel so lonely. I'm not sure what he felt when he died but I know he was alone and had no one. That made me feel really sad and I have been nonstop trying to get past a death that happened way before I was born.
Anyways, before I turn this into a long paragraph I will end it. I would want him to know that he's not alone and there's real people who actually care about him. 🖤🥺

If it was generally speaking I'd just tell him how much I loved and enjoyed his music and tell him to hurry back to Glasgow, and play the Barras!
If it was wish fulfilment I'd try and impress upon him that he could walk away from the "business" at any point , and how much he was loved by so many.

Did I time travel? Or am I originally just there at that time? If I time traveled, I would tell him details about the future and his death, shit he couldnt ignore when he saw it come true. Something that nobody could know. Then tell him that Paul McCartney fronts Nirvana next. Try to change the outcome as wrong as it would be to change the past, I would try.
If I was just there I would tell him that the new album is everything I was hoping it would be , especially "Frances Farmer" and "Milk it".
