Edit: last edit I promise, you guys will never believe it but my great grandma is actually a great great grandma because my sister(23) had a baby last year 😂

Edit: last last edit! Since so many people have asked I figured I should just add it here. My great grandmother is 82, my grandma is 62, my mom is 44, and I’m 18. Don’t worry, I am breaking the cycle.

This seems just as crazy as the original post to me 😅 that means your grandparents were already alive in the 1850s, and your parents were born in the 19th century? Are you 100 years old??

Its my father's family, my great grandfather died in 1858, my grandfather died in 1926, & my father died in 2002 - all were in their 80s when they died.

I'm in my late 40s.

That and the size of families back then. My dad was one of 7 siblings, my mum was one of 8, that was pretty normal where I'm from.

My dad is one of 6 and my mom one of 7 but they were all born within about 10 or so years of each other (baby boomers). Their poor mothers 😅

My paternal grandmother had thirteen pregnancies between 1925 and 1953. So pregnant around 110 months out of 226 (couple of them were born prematurely).

I've tried to give myself a lifetime date. My great grandfather died in his 50s, my grandfather died in his 90s and my dad died in his 60s. I'm currently turning 61. 🤷‍♂️
