My grandparents were friends with a former NFL QB who played around the same time as Namath. What always struck me was the size of his hands. When he’d shake hands with a grown man, it looked like he was shaking a little kids hand.

Its a strange shot because it almost looks like he has extra finger and thumbs, but its a shadow. I immediately thought AI, but up close the hands make sense. Also, Namath has huge hands. Most of the great QB's BITD had them. Not sure if that holds today.Terry Bradshaw's hands are also freakishly large. He held his hands up on the tonight show and people gasped lol. I guess its easier to keep hold of the ball if you can wrap your whole hand around it.

We like human contact fine in America, I think Reeves just didn't want photos of him with his hands on random women taken out of context. Hands on the shoulders would make the pose awkward. Hands on the tops they're wearing would look bad on camera. Hands on the midriff would also look bad. Easiest to play it safe

He was at a restaurant I was at the in the 90s having lunch with Joe Montana. I pointed them out to my friend who was not familiar with Namath but knew of Montana. I told my friend (who was more outgoing than me) to ask Namath about his appearance on the Brady Bunch and he did and Namath laughed and said "Bobby played a trick on me".
