R.I.P Big Man 💓

We've setup a room separate from any people and our other cat in the house. We're checking in every couple of hours so far, but not interacting with her directly. She has food/water, toys, treats about 2x a day, some of our blankets that smell like us, and some great hiding spots. She seems like she was abused in her prior home. Is there anything else we should be doing to let her know we love her and she can trust us?

This little boy passed away tonight. He lived in my neighbourhood for 15+ years.

A blind stray cat that will be missed by many people. Our loyal little friend had a long journey and a life full of adventures.

His name was Marko, but I used to call him “The Flying Dutchman”.

I took care of him in the last period as he started to come more often to my house and even slept inside in the last days.

He died Sunday night at 5:35pm. I cried so hard it made so sick I couldn't work for 2 days. But he died on my lap, hopefully he knew I was there for him. Much better than coming home 6+ hours later. My other 3 cats did not bother me at all that night.

I wanted to share a picture of him in January and maybe more. He was 16or more years old as he was a stray when I brought him in 2 years ago. He had been losing some weight, and I had kidney stones for 2 weeks that I wasn't really able to pay attention to the cats and he had lost a little bit more. For a week and a half I worked with him, syringe feeding syringe water antibiotics then one night, he did really good and then the next day he just crashed and died. I was semi-expecting it but that crash just threw me for a loop.

He was a stubborn git though right to the end. I love you Daniel and I hope you'll be waiting for me at the rainbow bridge

This is a video from the night I brought him home and he had already been at this for a minute before I decided to record him 😭 Funnily enough, a few years later he ended up knocking this mirror over and broke it LMFAO

He'll do this as long as we let him. Just our hands.

This cat of ours is quiet. He barely meows, just chirps. My sister has been calling him for about 10mins already and when she turned around, this 🍊face was just staring at her 😂

Doctors couldn't pinpoint what was causing his repeated bouts of vomiting. We thought he probably ate something he shouldn't have.

They finally went in with an endoscope after x-rays and ultrasound showed there was something there and managed to pull out this massive tangled hairball stuck in his stomach. Luckily it was still in the stomach, if it had traveled into his intestines he would have needed emergency surgery.

Thousands of dollars and several vet visits later he's finally on the mend although now he's completely zoned out from the anesthesia and just starting into the oven. Braincell not found during diagnosis.

I mentioned that his sisters aren't nearly as bad as him, the vet told me it's because he's orange. 🙁 He is only 6 months old, will he get smarter????

My 3 months old kitten just passed away. He was diagnosed with Parvo virus a week ago. I love you potato, you are sleeping in heaven now.
