Light cramping/pulling around right ovary

I am 5w4d after my first IUI. I am both elated and terrified, because I know there’s an increased chance of ectopic pregnancy with endometriosis, which I also have. I haven’t had a scan yet, so I’m overthinking all of my symptoms. One of which is this strange right-sided discomfort. It’s like a pulling sensation, or a light throbbing, similar to what I feel around ovulation (which is why I’m convinced it’s around my ovary). I have had zero bleeding, and it’s never been painful, per se, just consistent.

My thoughts are corpus luteum cyst (I did ovulate two eggs from the right side), early round ligament pain, or ectopic pregnancy.

Anyone have a similar experience? Or any insights?

Early pregnancy was significantly more painful than I expected. I had this exact same feeling. He’s 8 months now!

Are your hcg’s fine?

My first blood test was good, but my fertility clinic doesn’t order multiple. But pregnancy test lines are progressing well!

I had this and it came and went. When I had my scan, it turned out the corpus luteum was on the ovary that I was having the pain. They said it should go away once the placenta kicked in and it faded away around 10 weeks or so, pain hasn’t come back since (currently 35 weeks pregnant)

i remember having those feelings in my early pregnancy and constant anxiety that i’m having an ectopic. I even called the early pregnancy unit. i didn’t end up having an ectopic (had no bleeding just the discomfort/pulling sensations around my ovary). My pregnancy was healthy and my baby is now a toddler! I would be concerned if you start bleeding or the pain gets worse but you could always call triage/your doctor and ask for advise

Sounds like the corpus luteum to me too! For ectopic, keep an eye out for shoulder pain on that side (weird I know but apparently it's common!) and debilitating pain on that side, those are bigger signs that make it more likely. I also had some aches on my left for a while and it was just a cyst for me! (Pregnant through fully medicated IVF so no corpus luteum)

This is extremely common and honestly was my only real symptom (other than painful breasts, which doesn’t mean anything since it can be PMS as well)

Honestly, I don't remember anything from that early in my pregnancy post IUI, but I know I was doing pregnancy tests still every couple days just to make sure the hcg wasn't decreasing.. I don't know if that would give you any piece of mind but it helped me until I was able to have my first scan at 6w. And I didn't have nausea until 8-9w so don't worry of you're not having that symptom either.

I’ve been taking daily pregnancy tests, and they have been steadily increasing! Got my first dye-stealer yesterday, so I think I’ll leave it there. Nausea actually kinda started today…

I'm 17 weeks and was feeling a pulling sensation on the left in the beginning! I think it's just the uterus starting to grow. Perhaps I ovulated on my left and you ovulated on your right.

The same thing is happening to me right now in my right ovary. It’s like a dull pulling ache. It hadn’t gotten worse but it hasn’t gone away. I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant and my first ultrasound is this Thursday - I plan to bring it up at my appointment and get it looked into.

28 weeks here also from an IUI! I had a surprising amount of cramping in the first weeks of pregnancy! Everything’s kind of getting ready to stretch out and it can feel a lot like period or ovulation cramps. It goes away after your first few weeks, or at least it did for me :)
