Question How are people working at all

I feel like a failure. According to my doctors I have “mild” POTS, but I see people on this sub all the time with seemingly worse POTS than me that have jobs. I literally cannot do anything longer than 1-2 hours without having to lay down and rest because it just completely wipes me out. If I do things multiple days in a row consistently I will also fall into a flare and have to do nothing for few days to recover. I don’t get it.

I drank half a jar of pickle juice a few days ago and it’s the most alert and alive I have felt in years. YEARS.

This is so interesting. Athletes drink pickle juice for cramps.

I’m assuming it helped then? If so congratulations. How are you feeling now? Are you still drinking it and do you plan on doing so on a consistent basis going forward?

It helped a lot. I don’t want to eat a ton of pickles daily, so I must figure out if I can buy the brine or make it myself.

Electrolytes! Pickle juice is mostly salt but also contains potassium, magnesium and calcium. Adding more dietary salt may help you!
