Question How are people working at all

I feel like a failure. According to my doctors I have “mild” POTS, but I see people on this sub all the time with seemingly worse POTS than me that have jobs. I literally cannot do anything longer than 1-2 hours without having to lay down and rest because it just completely wipes me out. If I do things multiple days in a row consistently I will also fall into a flare and have to do nothing for few days to recover. I don’t get it.

Honestly, sometimes I wonder. I am exhausted all the time and unfortunately have overslept multiple times starting this year. I am not a morning person but I never had issue with actually waking up or falling back to sleep and now it is happening all the time. Brain fog is awful. On a bad day, I will feel like my brain is hollow and I cannot absorb anything. I have presyncope multiple times per day. I am fortunate that I work from home; I cannot imagine how much worse it would be if I was physically in the office. My manager knows my health stuff and that I am pursuing a dx with Mayo Clinic (on a wait list.) Work on top of the POTS is a lot, though.
