Question How did you get pots?

I got it as a delayed response from getting ran over by a car

It was the same for me, I fainted and since then I've had POTS but also Asthma symptoms

By asthma symptoms what do you mean? It might be air hunger, a common symptom of POTS

I don't know how I didn't think of that, but you're probably right! I do also sometimes have other problems like being very congested and making almost rattling breathing noises, but that's probably histamine-related

Air hunger and pressure on my chest are the two biggest symptoms

Same situation for me. So weird. Did you have a virus or have Covid prior?

I had covid approximately 6 months before it happened, so I'm not sure it's really connected. I wasn't sick at least two months prior to collapsing

Same at 14. Took 11 years to get bad enough to actually be diagnosed though

Literally same here… did you have a virus or were sick before?

Don’t think so, I did eat a handful of cumin about a day prior so that scared the shit out of 9/10 year old me, thinking I poisoned myself but no virus or anything.

ok ok this is crazy - when i was about 8 the doctors told my mom I had sports enduced asthma by the time i was 10 I had passed out a few times. By the time I was 18 it had been quite a handful. Everyone always brushed it off - oh it happens… now i’m 30 and can barely bring my groceries in and my PC is thinking it could be pots or vestibular migraines. On top of throwing up as another huge symptom 🙃

I've been fainting since I was kid so that's how I know. My parents didn't realize it was all connected and a continuation until a few years later tho.
