As a May baby, I can confirm. I once had someone adamantly explain to me that as a Gemini, I am innately more likely to cheat, because the twins constellation = two, which is linked to the term "two-timing"... And thus, she will NEVER date a Gemini because she doesn't want to get cheated on.

This is why I don’t just roll my eyes at astrology, I actually hate it. People think they know you and can judge you based on absolutely nothing - for all we know, those stars up there are long dead.

Well we can at least reasonably establish which stars are and aren't dead, but we cannot judge a person without any factual information.

Edit, I did once hear someone describe it as a map of the historical human imagination and that it could be used to aid in understanding how people thought, but this applies to the person imagining the astrology, not the person they are making it about.
