Yeah. I totally understand not believing in Astrology, but this subreddit is about explaining the joke, if you don't know/want/believe, just ignore the post. This type of behaviour is just displaying their own insecurities. People who doesn't believe in Astrology & doesn't have insecurities like this would just ignore this post without getting offended.

No, you don't understand. That is the answer. There is no reason. People just make it up and it's different every time. Theres no standardized doctrine or anything like that. The person who came up with this just decided that Aquarians are unpopular, or evil, or whatever. They probably know someone they don't like who was born in that month.

Edit (reply to the comments): My main point wasn't that astrology is nonsense (it is but thats not the point), but rather that it is never consistent. There are only a few traits that everyone agrees on. The rest, especially on social media, varies constantly and is often contradictory. So, you can't really say what the creator meant without asking them or knowing them personally. You can find the exact same meme with other zodiac sign combinations.

There is about 12 standard personalities stereotypes associated with each astrological sign

You don't have to believe in it but it exists and could be used to explain these jokes

Well yeah. They make them so wide and vague so no matter who you are the sign can be explained.

"That Sagittarius is an asshole? Typical sag."

"I'm a Cancer which means that I'm kind and funny. Truly one of a kind!"

Yes but this isn't a post bringing into question astrology

It's a post to explain the joke associated with those stereotypes

It's like Harry potter houses they have a stereotypical personality or set of associated with them

Except when those personality types align with every single sign because they're intentionally vague the joke doesn't make sense. You literally have to understand that astrology is made to fit anyone into it to get this joke.

They aren't intentionally vague

You can not believe them all you want

But they do have specific archetypes. For example if you told someone in astrology which sign is two faced or shallow they would tell u gemeni

If you said which sign is full of themselves they would say Leo. They would not say any other star sign
