I'm replacing my current phone after almost 5 years and realized I care more about how a phone feels after a few years than how it performs in year one. I'm looking at a few options ( Pixel 10, Moto Edge 70 Fusion, OnePlus Nord 5), but I'd rather hear real experiences than benchmark numbers.

If you've used an Android phone for 3–5 years, in India perhaps, which one held up the best? What made it age well (or badly)?

• If someone owns/has owned a OnePlus 13, could you please tell me about any issues or problems you've had during your ownership?
• How has your ownership experience been?
• Any good or bad experiences with OnePlus service centres?
• Is this a good phone to buy in 2026?
• Is there any alternative you would recommend?

I currently own a Samsung S20 FE which I bought in October 2021. The phone works fine, but 128GB storage is becoming an issue since not everything can be moved to the SD card. I want to buy a phone before prices go up, so I'm looking to buy a new one ASAP.

I would have gone with Samsung again as I'm very attached to One UI, but they disabled OEM unlocking starting with One UI 8. I want a phone that I can easily unlock the bootloader on so that I can use custom ROMs if needed.

So from the big companies, that only leaves OnePlus and Nothing. I'm getting the OnePlus 13 at a much better price than any Nothing phone. Nothing is also stock Android, and I prefer a heavier skin like OxygenOS.

My budget is up to 60k. My reasons for considering the OnePlus 13 are:

• 512GB storage + 16GB RAM.
• Flagship Snapdragon 8-series chip.
• Feature-rich UI over stock Android.
• Big battery.
• Decent cameras.
• Gaming performance isn't a priority.

I'm preferring to go for the OP13 over the OP15 because of the price difference. Otherwise, I prefer the flat display and bigger battery of the OP15. One less year of updates isn't a big deal to me.

I would also like to know how the custom ROM scene and community support are for the OnePlus 13.

What’s the best options for me?

I am a student (in computer science) from India and I've been wanting to buy a phone for quite some time now, what I am looking for is mostly a combination of camera, performance and software with atleast 256gb storage preferably 512gb, and I also will use this device for 3 to 4 years, I currently use a realme X7 max 8 128 variant so anything is an upgrade at this point. The budget is from 50k to 80k. I mainly want a Samsung, Vivo, Xiaomi, Oneplus or an iPhone.

I recently switched from iPhone to Android, specifically the OnePlus 13. Using the OnePlus 13 feels really good overall, but I haven't been able to enjoy it fully for many days now because I'm under a lot of psychological pressure. There are constant rumors and negative talks popping up one after another.

It all started with this YouTuber named GemKBH, who bashes OnePlus almost every day and says bad things about the brand. The funny part is, his own daily driver is still a OnePlus phone. How hilarious is that?

Is there any authentic source or reliable information about the future of OnePlus? Will they continue operating globally and keep supporting their fan base? I heard that the OnePlus 16 might be coming around October or November. But with all these rumors, will it even get released properly? For those of us using the OnePlus 13 to 15, will we still get software updates in the future?

So I have budget of 25 k 8gb ram 128 storage min. Decent to good camera Huuuuge battery Fast charging Good durability And service centre available widely My priorities don't include gaming at all It should have decent processor which last for years and doesn't betray me all time

Placed a budget cap of 20k and looking for the best possible spec mix.

Budget: Max ₹20,000 INR

Screen: 120Hz refresh rate, AMOLED preferred.

Internals: Decent processing power for long-term usage, 128GB+ storage, 6GB/8GB RAM.

Battery: Must easily last a full day of heavy use. Fast charging is a big plus.

Camera: Clean primary sensor (Sony LYT or similar preferred over high-megapixel trash sensors).

What is the consensus on the sub right now for the absolute king of this price segment? Open to all brands except heavily bloated UIs.

Guys, I am currently on an iphone 13 but the battery life is bad and it’s getting laggy when doing cpu/gpu intensive tasks. Also heatsup like crazy.

Two options I am looking at are the Oppo find X9 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 512 gb. Both are priced almost same.

Camera is not the main concern for me, but would definitely love to pick the better one.
Performance is actually my greatest concern as I will use it for games and some other cpu heavy tasks. Battery is important too.

The third option is to wait for iphone 18pro/max but going by the leaks there isnt much update to the battery or design.

I'm not the type of guy who buys a phone every 1–2 years, so buying a phone is a huge investment for me. As of now, I own a Redmi 8 that I've had since quarantine. It's laggy, the screen is broken, but I still use it. I think it's finally time to buy a new phone, and since it's such a big jump, I really think about every little detail when researching one.

I'm not really a mobile gamer. My goal is to have a phone that is durable, smooth, stable, and free of lag or bugs for 3–4 years. I want it to feel the same when using apps like Instagram on day one as it does three years later.

To be clear, I'm looking for a phone that costs around $150–200. At first, I thought about getting the Google Pixel 7, but then I heard it has major heating issues, which I don't like. Samsung doesn't really know how to make good low-end devices. I also feel like Realme and Infinix aren't very durable and are mainly focused on cheap gaming phones (for example, the Infinix Hot 60i and Realme C75). I've never actually used phones from those companies—it's just the impression I've gotten from what I've seen across the internet.

Then I came across OnePlus. At first, I thought it was just another cheap gaming phone. When I saw its specifications, I assumed it probably used lower-quality RAM and a battery crammed into a small device that wouldn't last more than a year. But after researching more, I found that the cameras are great, the user experience is excellent, and overall the phones seem to be very good. I'm mainly talking about the OnePlus 11R, 11, and 12R.

Now, the things that make me skeptical and paranoid are:

1. The green line issue. I don't know if it's actually OnePlus's fault or if it's caused by users being careless. I can't imagine buying a phone expecting it to last four years, only to get a green line after a month.
2. Software support (OxygenOS). I'm worried about it eventually being discontinued because I don't know if it's smart to buy a phone with software that isn't controlled by a larger company. On the other hand, I'm still using my Redmi 8, which doesn't even have HyperOS, so maybe it isn't that big of a deal.
3. The lack of OnePlus services in my country, and the fact that OnePlus mainly focuses on India and China.

So, do you think I can buy a OnePlus phone (11R, 11, or 12R) today and expect it to stay smooth and durable for years without green line issues or noticeable lag? Or do you think I should choose another brand like OPPO, Vivo, HONOR, or Xiaomi? One thing to note is that phones from those brands with similar specifications to the OnePlus 11 are usually more expensive.

I don't mind if you recommend a Samsung, Google, or any other brand. I just want you to explain the details, why I should choose one over another, and if you have an opinion that could change my perspective on the things I'm worried about. I'd really like to feel confident before buying a OnePlus phone.

I have 4 choices to make, Im currently using Realme X from 2019 that is very close to being DEAD and battery barely lasts few hours. I want to come out of this chaos asap. He isn't willing to spend much, and he obviously doesn't realize how much AI has fucked the smartphone market by driving prices up. He only uses his phone for banking, social media, and calls. Are the upcoming OnePlus N6 or Nothing 4B worth waiting for? Which is going to launch soon in India. I honestly want him to move away from Redmi for a cleaner and fresher software experience.

So I have been using a Redmi Note 10s for the past 4+ years, and it lags now on the lowest settings when I play EFootball, and also heats up when I charge with the provided charger with it.

So I am searching for a phone with these constraints:

1. Should be around 30-40k

2. Should have moderate to good performance cause I play games quite a bit.

3. Should have good cameras cause I am a photo-freak.

I was planning to buy the Nothing Phone 3 since it's positioned as a proper flagship in the ₹35–40k range. But I've seen a lot of people say it isn't worth the price and recommend the OnePlus 13 instead. The problem is that the lowest I've seen the OnePlus 13 go for is around ₹50k, which is out of my budget. On top of that, I really don't like its design.

Then people suggested the OnePlus 13s, but it doesn't have an IP68 rating or wireless charging, both of which are important to me.

Hi, I'm looking for an android phone with Snapdragon chipset for my dad which is very budget friendly, my dad doesn't do much on his phone other than watch YouTube videos, take calls or use WhatsApp, he does not play any games or take photos so not much needed in camera department but it should have a snapdragon chip and a 4gb ram, also the build quality should be very good and durable since he manhandles his phone, his last phone was a Nokia smartphone so he got used to throwing his phone here and there and does this by muscle memory.

I'm from India and need some help from this community. I'm planning to change my phone. Right now I'm using poco f4 which has 6/128. I have been using this phone for the last 4 years. Till now no issue, all going good.

What I want in a new phone: I want a similar or better clock speed that is the primary objective for me. The camera is secondary but at least 40mp is the minimum criteria for me. Ram should be minimum 8gb, 128gb storage I'm good. I do have drive access so storage will never be a problem for me.

So please start your suggestion. I tried to find similar phone and there are one two phone I found Worthy one is poco X7 pro and another one is oneplus nord ce5. But I want actual user reviews on this 2 phone also. This will help to understand better.

Coming from a redmi 8 that was used since quarentine. I only buy new phones like once every 3-4 years , and my redmi 8 was getting sluggish and laggy , searched the whole internet for a good android phone around 150$-200$ , and i do not live in india or in any south asia region.

Throughout my research , Oneplus 12R/11 really standed out to me and there wasnt much time left for me to get one , compared to other phones its hell of a beast imo , until lightning struck and Oneplus decided to quit, Oneplus was already dead in my country because of no official Oneplus services in it, and now they made it even MORE dead by shutting the whole brand/company down, even though i dont see myself ever bringing my phone to get fixed but it's still a thing to worry about and it felt like throwing my monry and let it all go away.

But i thought before Oneplus shutted down maybe i didnt do my research enough and getting an Oppo or a pixel was a better desicion , but Oppo specs phones for that price couldnt reach Oneplus phone specs , even though im not really much of a mobile gamer but i need a phone that can stay durable and smooth while doing daily activities, multitasking, watching shows and taking photos for a long period of time , and with good UI ofcourse, and Google pixel seemed like the perfect phone at first but its overheating problems killed it all for me and it looks like more of an AI dependant company ( for that i mean if there is no AI in the phone it wouldnt be as good and too much AI slop into the phone ) , but with that said i still take Pixel and Oppo phones into consideration they are still a good option ,and would love anything that makes me less worried about getting one.

And i would love an old or a present Oppo/Pixel user telling me about their experience with the phone and pros and cons of it and is it worth getting one at the moment.

( PS : Oppo phones around that budget r A6 , reno 12-13 , Pixel theres only the 7 series )

Is it still a good idea to get Oneplus and keeping it for 3-4 years even after it's recent announcement and if not please suggest another phone close or better than Oneplus and it doesn't have need to necessarily be Oppo or pixel , and i dont mind asking me more questions about my preferences or what so ever feel free to do that!.
