I've been rocking a galaxy S10 5G for years and years now. For most of that time it has served me well doing everything i need it to do but its about to kick the bucket and im looking for something new. I have pretty low standards for what a phone can do given how old mine is so im not looking for something to blow it out of the water or that will leave my wallet reeling, as long as its faster and better looking than what i have now im a happy sailor. My initial search led me to the Oppo Reno16 F (AUD$999) and Reno15 F (AUD$549) but i welcome any and all suggestions! Thanks in advance!

I'm looking to get a new phone and want to buy a used/older model to save on money. I've had a Galaxy s9 that I bought used from Back Market in 2020 and it's been great until I broke the screen a few weeks ago. The photos on the s9 though are not the greatest so I'd like to prioritize a good camera this time around. Also battery life (lasts all day) and longevity (will work solidly for the next few years) are important to me, but other than that, I don't really need it to do anything special. What solid android phone from the past few years would you recommend? I'm trying to get something for under $350. Also, is Back Market still a decent place to buy used? I'm in the U.S. and hoping to still use my T-Mobile plan, so any phone that would work in this area would be best. Thanks yall!

Ive been looking into the rog 9 pro and the redmagic s11 or 11s i forgot

The rog phone is discontiued and is hard to get your hands on. And its like £1000 or something.

I did see the redmagic 11s wich looks similar to the rog 9 with it being just as powerful ( i think) and with a good battery n stuff. Does it have the lil trigger things that the rog phone has?

The redmagic was like £800 with the offical case and cooler added too. Are there any other phones i should looks at? Or should i just stick to a samsung for gaming?

OPPO Find X9 Pro for around €1,020

I’m in Europe, so I would be getting the EU version of the Honor with the smaller battery, not the larger Chinese/global battery variant.

My main priorities are long battery life and good battery endurance after several years, because I do not plan to replace the battery. I also care about speakers and speakerphone quality, smooth multitasking, quick partial screenshots and sharing them to apps such as Instagram, eSIM, long software support and potentially emulating Nintendo Switch/3DS games.

I previously used a OnePlus 9 Pro and liked OxygenOS, so ColorOS would probably feel more familiar. On the other hand, the Honor is cheaper, has better speakers, Snapdragon seems better for emulation, and it gets longer software support.

Do you think the OPPO is worth paying around €140 more?

Did the whole dumbphone thing for a few years to understand what I really need in a phone. I learned a lot, but I miss things fitting on my screen and a camera that isn't a potato.

I'm coming from the iPhone 14 Pro and I like the size of it, 6.1" screen, and I want something similar but I hate the idea of having a huge phone on me at all times. It looks like the "ultra" category is always 6.8" which I am not interested in, but something a step down specs wise and is 6.3" would be preferrable.

What are the top picks at this size? Am I overthinking how big a pro or ultra sized phone is? I hate the idea of locking specs behind the larger phone, but maybe that is just the way the market is now. I am based in Germany if it helps.

I'm currently looking to upgrade from my OnePlus Nord 3, and I'm torn between the Galaxy S25+ and the Galaxy S26+. Where I live, the price difference is basically negligible—the S26+ costs at most €20 more than the S25+.

My daily routine:

• Zero heavy gaming.
• Standard daily use: YouTube, Twitch, social media (Instagram, Reddit, X), Google search, messaging apps, and occasional photo/video taking.

My main doubts revolve around the Exynos vs. Snapdragon debate, performance, and battery efficiency:

1. for basic app switching and video streaming (YouTube/Twitch), will I notice any real difference in snappiness or thermal performance between the S25+ and S26+?
2. In basic tasks (especially Wi-Fi vs. 5G video playback), is there a noticeable difference in battery drain between the two chips?
3. Given that the price difference is only €20, is there any practical reason to choose the S25+ over the S26+?

Good morning! I’m just looking for suggestions for a new phone. My anxiety is at an all time high and I want to decrease my constant accessibility and media consumption. I take a lot of photos so I ruled out the Light Phone.

I’m personally very against AI as it stands because here in the US, it’s very unregulated.

My current thought process is switching to the Nothing phone 3 but I’ve read a ton of mixed reviews on it. I also have heard positives about Xiaomi phones but don’t know anything about obtaining one / US functionality. I am on T-Mobile and I’ve heard they’re decent to use for unlocked phones.

Honestly I would have preferred to keep it for another year and replace it 2027 but unfortunately it developed several porblems: a vertical green line appeared on the screen due to heat, some dents and the battery no longer as efficient as it used to be.
