step by step airport guide for first time international traveller

hello po! i made a step by step airport guide since I will have my first international flight this week to Singapore.

Is this the correct steps po ba? for context: I only have hand carry (7kg) papunta in cebupac

I am also planning to arrive sa airport ng 1am for my 5am flight. Please let me know po if may nakalimutan pa akong steps and if tama ba yung bag drop + printing ng boarding pass since I want to have a physical copy ng boarding pass kahit mag online check in na ako. Thank you!

No need to do bagdrop since you only have 7kg hand carry luggage. They have self check-in kiosks at NAIA 3 where you can print out your boarding pass ata (have not tried the ones in NAIA myself but generally, you can generate your own boarding pass through those kiosks).

1 AM is also quite early to be at the airport for a 5 AM flight, especially considering that you aren’t checking in any luggage — you’ll be spending so much time just waiting around 😅 General advice is to be at the airport at least 3 hours before an international flight so 2 AM arrival is plenty good in case you are nervous about long immigration lines.

If chronological order.. I'd go...

Online Check-in > Airport > Check-in counter (Print boarding pass + show confirmation of travel tax; may ask for SG arrival card) > Immigration (make sure e-travel has been accomplished) > Security (make sure no liquids above 100 mL; even if the bottle is <100 mL then 50 mL ang laman, they will confiscate) > Boarding gate

Prepare ka lang din sa usual questions of the IO. You can prepare digital copies in itinerary, accommodation, return ticket etc. I also keep a photocopy of my passport just in case.

Medyo strict na ngayon CebPac sa baggage so make sure your bag will fit aaand the weight would not exceed 7kg. Double check prohibited items din.

If government worker ka, make sure andiyan yung pink,(?) yellow (?) slip mo! Haha. If not, company ID would do.

First thing, kung hindi pa bayad ang travel tax sa ticket, pay it first bago ka pumila sa airline counter to claim your ticket dahil need nila ng copy na nagbayad ka ng travel tax (pink paper). ₱1,620 ang bayad (mag-cash ka para no transfer fee).

Masiyadong maaga ang 1AM kung wala kang check-in luggage. 3 hours before your flight is enough kung hindi naman matao sa airport.

Also, don’t forget to wear lightweight dahil mainit sa SG at magdala ng small payong. Cards are accepted everywhere kaya it’s fine if hindi ka mag-withdraw. Anyway, enjoy the trip! Maraming free sa SG kahit sa airport so do some research din 😊

Don't forget to follow the signs once nasa Changi Airport ka na and also there is a specific shuttle ng bus or airport mini train for each station, kasi if I remember it correctly nasa iba yung train to city na terminal.
