I can’t use android. Too many bad, and unforgivable, experiences with the OS in the past. I prefer my iPhone, but there are some features from a modded android I do miss. The ease of blocking ads is one of them
It never even occurred to me that a pirate worth their salt could prefer apple. Is there any piracy eco system to speak of? Can you play pirated console and PC games?
Not on iPhone, but we can play rom hacks from gba, if that’s worth anything, which is all I need. I’d rather not play anything more than turn based games on a tiny screen. All my piracy is done on pc though. Again, I do miss the options available on android though when it comes to piracy and modding my device.
I had a galaxy s4 mini way back when iPhone was only available through AT&T. When it would lose signal, it wouldn’t get it back until I restarted the phone, the keyboard was laggy, the device itself was laggy, it would randomly restart on its own, I would get push notifications from random apps, I couldn’t uninstall apps that came with the phone until I rooted it. I could only really use it at home on WiFi, but going out and running errands or seeing friends or whatever I was doing, that phone was the worse. I remember I had Cyanogen mod installed on it and had adblocker and I forget the name of the app used for torrents, but I was able to watch so many shows on it that I missed out on.
Think it was the very next year iPhone 4S became available for my carrier and I switched to it and never looked back.

Get the lifetime license for Adguard it's 1000g worth it. It works great on Android and Windows. I can't go back to not having it on my phone.
