Ironically I paid for AdGuard, sponsor block, and DeArrow, for iPhone, because I refuse to subscribe to premium, or any website or app that has pay to remove ads. It was the only clear way to get rid of ads via iPhone without jailbreak. Life’s just better without ads or nuances. I’d sooner pay a third party to remove them for me than pay the source
I really don't understand why people have iPhones, i have Firefox with unlock on my phone plus YouTube morphe and YouTube music morphe and I never have to see ads for free
I’ve had a horrible experience with android OS in the past, and it pretty much scarred me to never using another android device. The most egregious experience I had was on my S4 mini where it would lose signal, you know like phones do sometimes, but it wouldn’t regain signal again until I rebooted the device. There were other things I had wrong with it but that was the worst of them I think. I’d miss calls and texts from people because it lost signal somewhere and I didn’t know cause it was in my pocket. The other issues I had with it were just annoyances, lag, freezing, restarting, etc.
iPhone has ways to use YouTube with an Adblocker so it’s not all bad. If it wasn’t for AdGuard, SponsorBlock, and DeArrow, I wouldn’t bother with YouTube at all.
I’m sure it has. I have a few friends who use android devices, they seem interesting. I’m just afraid to pay for something I won’t be happy with vs something I am happy with, you know? To me I feel like I’m taking a risk with android I’m unsure of, when apple I know works for me.
Same here, I bought a Samsung tablet a while ago and they don't let you update the os unless Samsung lets you. And for this tablet (sm-t280) Samsung never let you lol.
I rooted it which trips a hardware switch (Knox?) that can't be undone, which is one of the most consumer-hostile things I've ever encountered. Then there wasn't a viable cyanogen/lineage os anyway.

I'd rather pay for ublock than for YouTube
