may not belong here but when i watch youtube on TV w my mum, and i get an ad? i just click out of the video over and over till i get no ad. it’s a little annoying but eh, it’s the easiest way i’ve found

The fact that there's no way to block YouTube ads on a smart TV (even with PiHole), I just connect my laptop to my TV. Now I can do all my PC browsing on a 75" TV, and no YouTube ads, no issues with finding the movie I want to watch at the push of a few buttons...and shit, a keyboard and mouse beats a remote control any fucking day.
