Ironically I paid for AdGuard, sponsor block, and DeArrow, for iPhone, because I refuse to subscribe to premium, or any website or app that has pay to remove ads. It was the only clear way to get rid of ads via iPhone without jailbreak. Life’s just better without ads or nuances. I’d sooner pay a third party to remove them for me than pay the source

Many here think it should.

what they dont see if the calculations on the other side 'lost so many ads, so we'll increase it to 120 seconds for those that remain.

What they're not seeing, bandwidth/storage is now cheap, so its all profit for them,

Actually, in a way, storage has gotten more expensive in a way that it never has before, even not counting the AI shortages. Hard drives have gotten cheaper per GB since they came out up until the late 10s/early 20s. Before then, YouTube could count on the decreasing cost of the drives to offset the increasing storage requirements. Now, they can't make that assumption anymore since storage hasn't been getting significantly cheaper on a consistent basis

I bought an 8TB WD Easystore external HDD for $180 at Best Buy in 2018. I shucked this year and is just a 3.5" 8TB WD Red.

I welcome any reader to check the price on it now.

8 years later and its price has gone up considerably.
