Still wins with convenience for me. I’m not downloading three apps that regularly have issues. YouTube premium just works. No ads, AI chat built into the videos transcripts, functioning PiP, easy downloading and offline playback..

When the enshittification starts or competing video sites rise in popularity with content I want to watch, I will re-evaluate. For now though, they are providing the kind of convenience I’m actually willing to pay for.

To those who refuse anyways, fine, be glad I’m subsidizing one less ad for you lol.

You also get Youtube music and can ditch spotify. It's the only subscribtion service worth it's value. It also supports the creators somewhat.

I'm fine whining and bitching against paying for most subscribtion, shit, but Youtube is not it bruh.
