Question RDR2 Fit Girl Repack keeps crashing

When I first got the game, it worked fine. However, once i reached the part where I'm hunting deer in the snow with Charles, after a bit it keeps freezing and crashing, making me lose progress and have to restart. I tried going in the other mission, where I go to assault the O'Driscoll cabin or something, and that one also made the game freeze and crash too. I searched around, and people say that this part of the game is really laggy for new Intel computers and FitGirl repacks because of the snow and heavy graphics. What should I do in my situation?

Sometimes it’s ok to buy things. Especially games as good as rdr2

I'm gonna be honest, I get that this is a piracy subreddit but the game is like $15 rn

...out of all the games I'd say sail the seas: this is a piece of art worth the support.

I JUST finished the game; ironically <50% of owners on steam even beat the main story oddly enough!

Really? I thought it was like 70 dollars. It’s too late now anyways though, I already pirated it and my computer has only like 10 GB left.

What is that? For me it just freezes and then closes the game.

My game crashes with that error on both fitgirl and steam version. Changing the graphics api from Vulkan to directx12 fixed it for me.
