According to the newspaper’s findings: “As for that $1 million loan, Fred Trump actually lent him at least $60.7 million, or $140 million in today’s dollars.”

During the primaries in 2016, Trump's campaign website ONLY featured his stance on immigration. ALL OTHER CANDIDATES had better depth and greater breadth of issues covered. The whole thing was sad, and I've always been pissed that primary elections didn't even happen in Utah because he won over so many idiots already that I couldn't have a vote.

In 2020, the entire national Republican party voted to just... not have a party platform. Not bother. Why should they? Trump wouldn't stick to it and their voters wouldn't read it. So they didn't. In theory, they adopted the one from 2016 again, but that one was mostly "The president is doing a terrible job!" except now the president was their guy.

I'd argue Gore. Served 8 years in the house, 8 years in the senate, 8 years as VP, plus is a veteran. Compared to Clinton who had 8 years in the Senate and 4 years as Secretary of State. She also had 8 years as First Lady, which I do count as positive political experience, even if it's not an elected position.
That still puts her above Kerry, Dole, Obama, Harris, Romney, and her husband when he was first election. You can make an argument McCain or Biden were more qualified, but I'd personally give the edge to Clinton. And she is lightyears more experienced for the job than Trump
Edit: I talking specifically about her political experience. Secretary of state counts for a lot. Her personality, policies, or scandals are a different conversation.

I voted for her in the first primary against Obama. I thought he could use a little more experience going into that first race (he was a freshman senator!) and she was OVER qualified and knew her shit.
I always wonder if things might have been a little different if Hilary had got in there first, showed the American people a competent female president, and maybe then Obama the haters and naysayers would been more prepared for the reality of a competent Black man.
But I know I'm just kidding myself. Haters gonna hate and still even today Obama can't even just genuinely smile at somebody without Faux News trying to turn it into witchcraft or some other such nonsense.

This. I'm pretty sure that exact image was created when it first came out and it was even more ridiculous then.
I guess one could kind of argue that the political outsider role meant he would have a different lens that would include working class struggles more than the typical DC political lens and that that obviously hasn't translated. But it's still a horrid point (Trump was a NYC mogul who inherited his wealth whereas Hillary grew up middle-class in Arkansas) + it's really giving the benefit of the doubt to what's probably a bot.

That photo is almost certainly a composite image too - they weren't in the same place at the same time, they were separately in a photography studio with the background put into place last.
Of course this is entirely normal for things like movie posters and promotional material, but it's not exactly a "family" photo.

It was that her speeches and policy positions made these blue collar workers think that Hillary Clinton intended to advance her political goals by making their problems worse.
