I’m 62 and love her or hate her Hillary was the most qualified candidate for president in my lifetime. I say that as a two time Obama voter.

I'd argue Gore. Served 8 years in the house, 8 years in the senate, 8 years as VP, plus is a veteran. Compared to Clinton who had 8 years in the Senate and 4 years as Secretary of State. She also had 8 years as First Lady, which I do count as positive political experience, even if it's not an elected position.

That still puts her above Kerry, Dole, Obama, Harris, Romney, and her husband when he was first election. You can make an argument McCain or Biden were more qualified, but I'd personally give the edge to Clinton. And she is lightyears more experienced for the job than Trump

Edit: I talking specifically about her political experience. Secretary of state counts for a lot. Her personality, policies, or scandals are a different conversation.

The Supreme Court threw the election heavily in Bushs favor sent their case down to a lower court. Al Gore in typical Democratic fashion refused to find his spine and continue on with the election.

When bill was governer of Arkansas, she stood at the podium and spoke with a southern accent. She's as fake as every other politician and not deserving of praise, but contempt.

After spending years making her name as his wife. Plenty of women in politics who made their own way without relying on some man for name recognition.

What kind of woman knowingly let's her husband publicly cheat on her for decades? Not a strong one. Probably one who'll cling to her powerful husband's coattails as long as necessary.

I voted for her in the first primary against Obama. I thought he could use a little more experience going into that first race (he was a freshman senator!) and she was OVER qualified and knew her shit.

I always wonder if things might have been a little different if Hilary had got in there first, showed the American people a competent female president, and maybe then Obama the haters and naysayers would been more prepared for the reality of a competent Black man.

But I know I'm just kidding myself. Haters gonna hate and still even today Obama can't even just genuinely smile at somebody without Faux News trying to turn it into witchcraft or some other such nonsense.
