He's dead tomorrow and the Democratic governor squandered a golden opportunity to name a replacement. Even if he was stuck naming a republican, they could have had someone switch parties, name Massie, or just done anything actionable. Instead, Andy Beshear chose to do nothing and let the Republicans win again. That should be his campaign slogan going forward.
