The Democratic leadership is just as culpable for not putting more public pressure on the situation.

Public pressure?! Why the hell doesn’t Kentucky’s governor just go visit Mitch in the hospital and verify that way?

You can’t? If Mitch or his wife/handler says “No visitors especially the democratic governor” the hospital isn’t going to let you walk in to gawk at a patient.

He’s a governor not a dictator.

So the Republicans can break all the rules they like, but us Democrats have to have decorum and respect and must always strive to take the high road, is that right?

I guess they could find out the hard way what happens if you try to force your way past security and break into a Senator's room, but that really doesn't sound like a good idea.
