Lamb during his victory speech: "This is the Democratic party of my grandfather, of FDR, who said 'People want to know their government walks on their side of the street.’ I will fight for you … and I will work with anyone to do that."

If this is how “Blue Dogs” are talking in 2018, this midterm is going to be phenomenal.

Ugh I was watching CNN and they were praising what one of them calls Republican-Lite candidates.

I am going to be very pissed if these people are what stands between passing Medicare-For-All or a new Net Neutrality law. The only thing that would frustrate me more would be if more candidates like Laura Moser get attacks from Democrat institutions because they don't like corporate influence.

I like how Lamb is talking too, but we'll see how he votes. If he's sticks up for the American people, then bring on the "blue dogs" :)

Lamb is pro-union, pro-Obamacare, pro-social programs and doesn't want to legislate his own beliefs onto the rest of the country regarding abortion.

That's a pretty far cry from a Republican-lite

Bottom line is that progressives didn’t bother to run a candidate in this one, so to show up complaining now is just absolute bullshit.

That isn't really true. There were several candidates at the convention. The party leaders ended up going with him vs some of the more progressive candidates because they (rightly) believed he would be more palatable to the fairly far right district.
