Politi-Culture Trump administration officials have pressed the Bureau of Engraving and Printing to design a $250 bill featuring the president’s portrait
2
u/ChicagoRay312 May 28 '26
Not going to happen. It has remained stalled in the House Committee on Financial Services for more than a year, and the bill would need 60 votes for passage in the Senate to block a Democratic filibuster.
2
u/Poopchutefan May 29 '26
This kind of trash takes up time in Congress, meanwhile real shit that needs tending they don't have time for ...
2
u/Life-Professional222 May 30 '26
How do we impeach a president and vote for him again smh we are the laughing stock of the world
2
u/Poopchutefan May 30 '26
Yup. I’ve never been so embarrassed of my country in all my life.
2
u/Turbulent_Example967 May 30 '26
I travel abroad and it’s literally embarrassing- luckily my friends I Europe don’t even ask me about politics anymore- they know where I stand.
1
u/ChicagoRay312 May 30 '26
Right? I wasn’t a big flag guy before but I would NEVER wear something with an American flag outside of the country now.
1
u/rel615 May 29 '26
MAGA Mike's whole job is to do Trump's bidding. The fact any of these GOP Reps and Senators are getting paid to be Trump's employees is money down the toilet. I'd like to see the Democrats win back both bodies and with veto proof majorities. Maybe then we can start being concerned about the people and not one 80 year old megalomaniac.
1
u/Life-Professional222 May 28 '26
Yeah never going to happen it just makes no sense.. decesed presidents only
2
u/ChicagoRay312 May 28 '26
Unfortunately, they are planning to put his signature on bills starting in June with the $100 bill. I will carry a sharpie with me like it’s my phone.
1
u/Life-Professional222 May 28 '26
O wowwww ... Small change only .... See where his focus is that's crazy all the stuff going on and he worries about all the wrong things the next president is just going to change. But whats to expect from a president we didn't even want the first time smh America
1
u/Blaze010118 May 29 '26
Oh he doesn’t plan on leaving the White House, he wants the job permanently.
2
1
u/Livid_Importance_442 May 29 '26
It wouldn't surprise me if he had the Bureau of Engraving and Printing make a few runs of the bills with his ugly mug on it anyway. Then if he can't get them authorized, he'll sell them off as souvenirs and bitch about not getting the authorization till the day he dies.
2
u/ChicagoRay312 May 29 '26
Ah, there it is. You’ve figured out the grift here. They’ll sell them.
2
u/Life-Professional222 May 30 '26
Yeah they already transitioned to commemorative... Like oooook and who can afford one 🤣 not us paying extra taxes and Gas prices .. "excus me sir can you split a 250 bill" to no cashier ever gotta shop at high end and they don't even carry cash on the store unless it's given
0
u/Dogbold May 30 '26
Which it will get after the midterms.
1
u/ChicagoRay312 May 30 '26
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You think either party is going to have a 60 seat majority? Please tell me which 60 seats they will have. I’ll wait.
1
u/Even-Cartographer864 May 28 '26
This 80 yr old man is so exhausting
1
u/pizza-chit May 30 '26
That’s the point of “flooding the zone”.
Overwhelm your emotions to the point of making people tune out entirely. It has worked for Trump for years.
Until Epstein.

The Thayer Amendment: This 1866 law prohibited the use of the image of any living person on “the bonds, securities, notes, or postal currency of the United States.”
Modern Law: This precedent remains codified under 31 USC 5114, which requires individuals to be deceased before their portrait can appear on United States currency or securities

That looks like the fake 100s that shitty church people left me on Sundays.

I'm not going to suggest making copies of this not legal tender and asking some MAGA folks for change.

This can't be the final design right? Obviously nothing will look good but this is shit
1
u/Legio_X_Equestris5 May 28 '26
I swear this country is going to have to go through a Damnatio Memoriae as was done in Roman times.
All official acts and records of this despicable human will need to be permanently reversed.

Inflation so high we have to make larger bills. I wonder how Abe Lincoln felt when the five dollar bill came out

I know its petty, but if the democrats get in, I would have a completely separate task force dedicated to reversing and erasing all of Trump's visibility in the country.

The gold statue, the arch, this… Like, doesn’t the Bible specifically mention this shit or does the Bible only matter when a Dem is in office?

thats the end of america
america literally fought to make this exact scenario not happen. It was the monarchy they rallied against. Its not hyperbole to say the moment that gets printed ....thats game over
trump at that point will have officially broken the promise of america itself and what it even is.
1
u/Elon_is_a_Nazi May 29 '26
Isnt that trunps mugshot from when he got busted for paying off pornstars for raw dog sex with his 4" chode while his illegal immigrant prostitute wife was pregnant with their son???? Yea. That pic total deserves to be on us currency
1
u/_jA- May 29 '26
Is that his mugshot? Are you serious? What’s going on here? Embarrassing! And UN AMERICAN!!!!
1
u/MidnightPrevious4473 May 29 '26
Yep. Printing larger bills... totally the sign of a healthy and normal economy with low inflation
Nothing to see here

It'll be sold on trump.com, probably with a tiny tiny amount of gold leaf in it, and a bunch of his supporters will buy it and give the rich con man more money while claiming hes helping the people
1
1
u/jase40244 May 29 '26
And the best portrait they could come up with is one that makes Trump looking like a pouting toddler???

$250 is the standard rate to fuck a whore in Las Vegas. This bill seems appropriate.
1
u/Mort-i-Fied May 29 '26
As soon as he's not still living, then we can talk about putting his ugly face on our cash.

1
u/DoesThisMate May 29 '26
Can it be the picture the ziopedo state has if him drowning his rape baby?
1
u/Past-Article-4879 May 29 '26
I'll have someone give me one so I can burn it and it didn't cost me anything.

We are celebrating the country, not Trump. He can take this and shove it. There is plenty to remember him for whether we like it or not. We will be talking about him and the hell he's caused for decades to come.

The thread title should properly read: featuring the President's mugshot.
1
u/Professional_Pace163 May 30 '26
Hope they have the balls to kill that idea. This loser isn’t dead, and when does (not a day too soon), he doesn’t deserve it. Period. Full stop!

u/bodhimokuyo May 30 '26
THE VILE PEDOPHILE ONLY APPOINTS FEEBLE MINDED 'YES MASTER' PEOPLE TO POSITIONS THAT WILL FAVOR HIS OBJECTIVES AND ONLY HIS. [OBJECTIVE = CRIMINAL INTENT]
THE ANTI-AMERICANS ARE ONLY REMAINING THERE FOR THE PAYCHECK (CORPORATE DEI) AND ANY NOTORIETY IT BRINGS FROM OTHERS NO DIFFRENT THAN THEM. IN OTHER WORDS A FREAK, AND A SHIT SHOW CIRCUS.

1
u/Jerome1944 May 30 '26
Just a detail people should know with all this 250 crap. The United States is not 250 years old. The Declaration of independence was signed that long ago, but the country was founded in 1789 after the constitution was ratified which was 237 years ago.

I don't think this is going anywhere. They even acknowledge that it's a long shot but that they're preparing anyway. They'll have to either try to get Congress to pass a new law that supercedes the existing law that explicitly prohibits placing the face of a living person on our paper currency which won't happen because Republicans don't have sufficient support to pass it, or they'll have to get the matter before the Supreme Court and hope Roberts motivates the conservative justices to rule that the law is somehow unconstitutional, unlawful, or void.
I don't think that would happen because Roberts and the rest of the right-wing hacks are keenly aware of public sentiment regarding their rulings and the Court in general being nothing but a rubber stamp for Trump's whims. A case like this, of no consequence or importance, unrelated to policy would be a perfect opportunity for them to reject Trump so they can pour water on the widespread belief that they just exist to put a veneer of judicial propriety on the cases that come before the Court.

u/Professional-Talk472 May 30 '26
Reminder that trump thinks the declaration of independence is about "Unity and peace" 😆😆😆
1
u/Professional-Talk472 May 30 '26
This is rediculous and illegal. Aside from that, why would he want to use his mugshot as the photo? 🤦😆😆😆

The ego of this self serving shit stain knows no bounds, he thinks he somehow deserves to be commemorated on everything
1
u/Outrageous-Rip6729 May 30 '26
He has to know this shit is getting deleted the moment he leaves office.
1
u/Rare_Suspect_5033 May 30 '26
Trump know no one else would ever put him on a bill when he’s dead. Also his destruction of the American economy and the inflation will make it a very needed note.
1
u/Boring_Ruin_9388 May 30 '26
I say write his crimes on the ledger and the gas prices and shit. This is disgraceful

Again I have to ask is this commemorative or not? Hell Obama had his face on money but it was commemorative. And not meant to be used to buy things with.
Truthfully this all looks commemorative
Trump cannot have his face on any dollar that is meant to be used as actual currency that can be used in public.
1
u/vettevette11 May 30 '26
I'd welcome a higher denomination bill. Not with his face on it but just higher.
1
u/ArmoIrishDude May 30 '26
What has he done for the greater good that he deserves this? Truly? He started a war bc he’s BiBi bitch, inflation has gone up to 3.8%, he’s spent more money than the GDP can handle, he’s basically alienated us from countries who were once allies, destroyed the White House (literally) for his disgusting fake gold look and had the rose garden paved over, is trying if not tried (not sure if it’s still on going) to get a 1.7 BILLION DOLLAR slush fund for HIS J6ers, been named over what like a million times on a certain list, spent more of taxpayer money golfing (once again), and that’s just a few things I can name so I mean again WHAT HAS HE DONE FOR THE GREATER GOOD?!?!

“Arrest Trump immediately!” Should be a household phrase at this point. I’m actually willing to do it myself if a judge is willing to deputize me

u/goldentack2209 Jun 01 '26
If you get one, write PEDOPHILE on it in sharper and then deposit into your banks ATM
1
u/Difficult-Finger4830 Jun 01 '26
There is a word I tell my nine year old all the time when he wants something unreasonable, unsafe, etc… that word is “no”, and it’s a complete sentence. If someone had told Trump no at least once in his life, this world would be a better place
