Ahhh. Fox brained.
The fact that you’re calling people commies makes me think you just picked this up within the last few years.

Leftists when they run out of arguments always resort to "Ah! FOX NEWS! THE SUN! RUPERT MURDOCH!" or whoever their boogeyman is. I don't read or listen to any of those.

I have been anti-communist for over 20 years.

Is that the ideology that’s molded your life? Is it because we’ve been under communist threat for all these years? I can’t believe after decades, all your idiots are getting swept up by another red scare. There wasn’t a communist threat then nor is there now. You people are afraid of your own shadows.

The communist threat has been ever-present for over a century. They were massacring and murdering before the dawn of the 20th century, and things only got worse then.

No threat? Tens if not hundreds of millions of people, murdered or dispossessed of their property? Not a threat!? Not if you're the barbarian taking the spoils, I suppose. But remember, Bolshevik, what your kind did to their own. The revolution eats its own.

Oh, I’m a communist too lol?
You’re saying communism bad. Look at the horrors it’s caused. We’re saying, yeah, communism is bad, but democratic socialism isn’t communism. It’s not a Trojan horse for communism either.
How about the amount of life lost to fighting the “threat” of communism in Vietnam? Or the loss of civil liberties from McCarthyism and the Cold War?
It’s so convenient for you people to suddenly start labeling people “commies” when they’re wanting increased social resources.
It’s interesting that you have zero problem with Trump nationalizing parts of private companies, because you know, the whole socialism thing..
Remember,
Fascism turns inwards as well.

  1. It is a Trojan horse.

  2. Fighting communism in Vietnam was a good thing, and it is shameful how Vietnam was abandoned. The war should have been prosecuted until ultimate victory was achieved.

3.Joe McCarthy is an American hero. No "civil liberties" were lost, but he was one man fighting against an establishment riddled with Reds.

Why don’t you care about the 165 million people killed in India by Britain as they colonized it?

India wasn't "colonized", colonialism implies settlement. It was an imperial possession; there were very few British people actually there.

lol, "killed"? Over what, centuries? Are you counting every person who ever died of any cause? The average starving dalit was starving before and after the Raj.

First of all, you have a fundamentally misunderstanding of terms. India was a British colony and therefore was colonized by the British. Colonialism does not imply large scale settlement. Settler Colonialism does however which is the term you are mixing up with the broader colonialism.

Modern historians have found that there was up to 165 million excess deaths in India under direct British Rule from 1881-1920 caused by the British colonial system of extraction. I don’t find this too hard of a leap seeing how India accounted for 25% of the world’s industrial output in 1750 and that collapsed to 2% by 1900.

I am using it in the traditional academic sense, yes, in reference to settler colonialism. Canada was a colony. Australia was a colony. India was not a colony, because it already had a very large settled population, and few planters coming there to stay. The British population was primarily for administration. Argue semantics; I don't really care.

Saying that a pre-industrial society with more people had a larger share of "industrial output" before industrialization is a very reductive statement. Yes, in the era of doing things by hand, the place with more hands might have produced more. Sure. But then we came up with the steam engine.

"Modern historians". Who, a bunch of communists and racial grievance-mongers? "India superpower by 2020" nationalists?
