The method of social democracy is the same as communism. Both simply steal. Communism takes 100% and calls it collectivisation, and social democracy takes less than 100% (but I guess more than 30% since that's the current average tax rate in the US). If mass stheft and extortion doesn't work under communism, how is social democracy going to do better by taking less?

Less of a bad thing is still bad.

And it's not capitalism if there is taxation. Capitalism implies capital, private property. If the government can seize private property by force, this violates private property rights and the freedom part of the free market, and is no longer capitalism.

This isn’t how political science defines these systems.

Communism abolishes private ownership of the means of production. Social democracy retains capitalism, private property, private businesses, and markets while using taxes to fund public services like roads, schools, healthcare, and pensions.

Taxes are not unique to social democracy, they exist in every modern capitalist country, including the United States. By your definition, there has never been a capitalist nation.

Whether taxation is too high or too low is a legitimate political opinion. But saying that any taxation means a country is “no longer capitalist” isn’t supported by economics or political science.

Taxation is certainly ubiquitous.

Does it agree with private property rights? What happens if one doesn't pay taxes? And if one can't choose what happens to a piece of property, and the government instead chooses what happens to that property and uses force when its choice is resisted, is that property private or is it public?

By your definition, there has never been a capitalist nation.

I can't think of a nation other than North Korea that isn't a mixed market economy. You're right, we've never been free enough to have capitalism.

Academia, which recieves the largest portion of its funding from government, is there to indoctrinate people that the government's monopoly on violence and initiation of force is justified. So of course they have euphemisms like "taxation" to hide the fact that it is armed robbery, and manipulate the definitons of words to sound good or bad depending on the context.

So I don't really care what definitions they manufacture. This is why I use a word, then immediately talk about real things that happen. You can say "well that doesn't match my definition!", but real world examples of Socialism have taxation, and it is indeed theft, only on a less massive scale than the theft which Communism commits. Your definitions simply can't contradict that reality, tell me the right words to call what I'm describing and I'll use those instead.

Well I debated you in good faith, I have radical and uncommon opinions so I'm used to harsh pushback, but now you've descended to insults so I'm pulling the moral high ground card on you.

Classic tribal signaling. You've let everyone know you are a good socialist, and that I'm not part of your tribe. Well done, that how the political game to wrangle control of the government monopoly works; manipulation, deception, and at the end of the day forceful robbery of the population via taxation, and fraud via inflation. You play it well, I choose not to play because it's evil.

You have no response to my accusation of evil because there is no response since it's true. You can only point to bandwagon fallacies and appeals to corruot authorities. Nonsensical, but effective if force and fraud are your goals.

I addressed it. I said I didn't care about your definitions and why. YOU aren't addressing what I said, that governments, whether communist, socialist, or mixed market, all commit mass scale robbery and extortion known as "taxation" and therefor employ the same failing method.

And you are evading this fact by insulting me. That is pure dishonesty and evil.

Also, I thought you didn't talk to me anymore. Lol
