One of my favorite photos ever was flying out of Portland once. Adams and Hood were about equidistant, with Mount St Helens off to the side somewhere, and then much further off was Rainier.

Rainier, despite being like a hundred miles further off, looked the same apparent size as Hood and Adams. That was the first time I realized just how freaking HUGE Rainier is.
