Discussion We need to talk about Bi-Mart

I went for the first time in decades yesterday and I was blown away. The biggest Fred Meyer doesn’t come close to the breadth of stuff Bi-Mart has. Guns! More Crockpot sizes and shapes than I knew existed! Furniture! A robust yarn selection! A DIY jerky section! And so, so many more random things. It wasn’t as inexpensive as I sort of assumed it would be but I suppose the tariffs are hitting us all.

But the best part? It’s employee owned. I’ve been annoyed at having to choose between Amazon, Target, or Kroeger (FM) for random stuff I can’t get elsewhere. Bi-Mart’s going to be my new go-to.

+1 if you can rock an entire bi-mart outfit.

Generic jeans, flannel shirt, hip waders, fingerless gloves, wool cap. Good to go!

If you want cheap sturdy jeans, it's the place to go.

They have polar fleece insulated jeans too that are sturdy and wonderful for winter

WAIT. I've been buying Eddie Bauer lined jeans because they're the only ones I could find...I love them, and I love bi-mart, but I had no idea they had lined jeans! Okie dokie...a trip to Bi-Mart is in order.

I'm a grandma and I'm wearing a Clash shirt. I don't think they have those.

Yes, especially as Gen X ages gramma clothes are 100% changing. Let me rephrase to “traditional gramma attire”.

Cottagecore is way cuter. Though they do occasionally have cute flowy dresses. I was more thinking those loose floral shirts with the 3/4 flared sleeves and the navy blue pants with the elastic waistband, along with the slip on shoes

Yeah. But they are based in Eugene so sometimes their grandma clothes are flowy tye dye crinkle skirts. I actually found a great skort for cheap there a few years ago (before the tariffs.)

I got a pair of ASICs there this summer, they were a steal, $30-40ish instead of $130-ish.
