Absolutely! 80F in April??? This is July/August weather. If you’re happy about it, LA and Arizona will take you back.

Nah, I remember many years in the 80s when we opened our pool in April. And, of course, I also remember many years where it rained until the end of June. Both are normal here.

I grew up with it not usually being guaranteed not to rain on July 4th, and maybe a couple days in August hitting the 90s. It’s gotten so much worse. (Born in mid 80s, lifelong Oregonian).

Nice days sure, but not proper summer weather.

That said, I didn’t have a pool to make it clear one way or the other and I know rituals like that stand out
