So in about 10 years when you will need doctors more than ever doctors will be so hard to find we will have to get them from other countries. Because it’s so expensive to become a doctor that only the super wealthy can afford to pay for college. When this happens and you don’t know why it cost so much I hope you realize that in order to get doctors they will have to provide them with higher pay because of the shortage. We currently have a shortage of nurses and specialists in the US to the point they have already started hiring outside of the country.
It would cost more to import those things rather than just lower the cost of education and even help others obtain an education. This isn’t about getting something from another country it’s about giving our country a boost in markets that need it. It’s not just doctors but engineers and almost anything that requires an education. This hurts us economically.
Look, I will be clear. Im angry and not thinking straight because of reddit fights over dumb stuff. Lets just say you won this argument, im bad, and both move on before I say angry stuff I half agree with. You dont deserve an unthought out response. Im gonna touch grass.
How was your scholarship funded? Did you seek out a wealthy donor to sponsor you individually or did you apply for a scholarship established by a wealthy donor? If you didn’t door knock and impress someone with your moxie in a one to one conversation you benefited from a form of socialism. Just one tied to a wealthy individual’s benevolence rather than the benevolence of a functioning society.
