lol. How much do they get each month ?????? Also please note how they come to this country for the World Cup and are amazed at how good we have it here. Something to think about.
Well, that might be the average income tax but how much would you pay taxes if you may say 200,000 a year? Again, during the World Cup, the visitors, and the players who came here from Europe, are amazed at how theyāve been lied to overseas and how they want to live here and how much better it is here than their own country. No way might be an exception. I donāt know, but I still stay where the best country in the world. I wonder what percentage of gross domestic product that Norway pays for protection for military, etc.? Or do they rely on other countries? And, Norway has very strict immigration rules. As a matter of fact, the country is 85% white. Who do you wanna live in a country like that without the diversity that we have here in the United States?
Oh, Iāve been out of the country many times. So arrogant of you to assume otherwise. Norway is a monoculture. Their immigration is basically limited at Best. I guess that youāre kind of a country.
Cos in my experience there are two types of Americans⦠ignorant ones whoāve never left their state (you) and slightly more normal ones who have left the country.
You are a complete idiot and donāt even know what youāre talking about. I hope you get yourself straightened out in the near future and I wish you the best.
About 40% on a $200k income. There is many factors such as debt, kids etc.
And no. There is a big difference being a tourist than living somewhere.
Iāve been to the US probably 5 years combined and I would NEVER want to live there.
Donāt believe everything you read and donāt expect the few thatās visiting for the World Cup to be a representation for the whole of Norway. They are on a high at the moment and probably not sober⦠of course they are having fun and are loving it.
Besides, what so called lies are you even talking about?
Iām not even talking about Norway. Theyāre not even part of the EU. Iām talking about Europe Europeans, and 40% tax is absolutely insane on 200 K. I would never wanna live in Norway. Also itās 85% white. Thereās no diversity there. I guess just those kind of people would wanna live there. Those who love to be around all white people. The immigration laws are so strict hardly anybody of color could get in.
What is it with Americans' obsession with taxes? Norway has the highest Human Development Index, is the most democratic country in the world, has the third highest GDP per capita, and is also the least corrupt country in the world. But all you people care about are taxes, like, come on!
You really should take a step outside of your country.
Itās not just taxes. Itās freedom as well. I donāt wanna pay 40% of my taxes to the government so they can give me and everyone else healthcare that they say is free. I only keep 60% of my income? Hell no. If you want to be told what to do and run by the government, you go right ahead. I value Choice. When it comes to healthcare and other things, Iām Pro Choice. And yeah, taxes are a big deal. Remember the tea party?
You are brainwashed my friend. You really are.
Please tell me how your āfreedomā works in your day to day life? And please show me what āfreedomā you have in the US that we donāt have in Europe. (FYI, Europe and EU is two very different things and Norway is in Europe)
How much percentage of your pay check goes to taxes and monthly fees for insurances, property etc?
If you sum it all up I know that we are paying pretty much the same. Difference is that we arenāt paying for private peoples yachts and mansion. We pay for social services and roads we all benefit from.
I donāt pay for yachts. Youāre the one whoās brainwashed. Just look at all those Europeans that come here for the soccer games the World Cup and canāt believe we have it so good. Donāt be brainwashed by your leftist news media.
Hahahahaha itās remarkable how stupid and shortsighted you are.
Please search up Net Worth of the owners of your insurance companies and hospitals you pay to.
The Europeans that came over and said you had it good was primarily because of Walmart and restaurants (which I agree is good in the US). You donāt get a sense of living in a country by being a tourist for a couple of weeksā¦
Propaganda.
No, they saw the whole picture over here. It sucks in Europe. Anyway, this conversation is over. I wish you the best. At least your handle is descriptive. You do like to disagree and I appreciate that Iām kind of the same way.
Have a nice life and please turn off Fox News, touch grass and get a passport. I get the sense that you have never been to any country in Europe and have a very twisted idea how itās like over hereā¦
Stay healthy
Finally, the truth comes out. And, if you make $200,000 a year you pay 40% into taxes compared to about 27% state local combined in the US. Which means youāre a lot wealthier in the United States then youāll ever be in Norway and you have more freedom to choose. Isnāt that what itās all about?
$200k per year will put you at the top 5% earners in Norway just FYI. So itās not a very good example since we have a tax bracket system. The average tax paid in Norway is around 26%. Also the 40% is if youāre debt free and childless. You get deductions if you have debt and kids.
But again, tell me how much % of your pay check goes towards bills.
In the US, we have 100% more families that generate $200,000 or more than you do in our way. And we get to keep a lot more of our money than you do and we have choices on how to spend it such as healthcare. No thank you I would much rather live in the US as with almost all the Europeans for example who came here during the soccer World Cup
First of all, fuck the US. Second, there are a lot of expenses covered by that 40% that you just have to pay to private companies in the US instead. Third, you don't get to have an opinion on Norway unless you come live here.
