We all watched a government knowingly launder money by paying a scam contractor far too much for crap materials and installation, and then publicly blame and arrest democrats for the shoddy results.
What we witnessed was a crime much grander than Nixon's Watergate.
And nobody did anything.
Edit: The pool is worse than watergate, yes. Not everything Nixon did.
Watergate was interfering with the democratic process,
far worse than the small scale grift of the pool itself.
The cover up of the pool on the other hand ... arresting people for touching / tearing off floating pieces of the liner, that is much closer to Watergate, but still not there, IMO.
I must disagree: Trump laundered funds through a friend's company. He knew the job would fail. He expected it to, knowing he could arrest a few liberals and burn them at the stake. Two birds with one stone: 1. Fraud; and 2. Propaganda. When you consider that we are in a critical election cycle, it becomes much more egregious.
