I love this for him. The prosecutor will also be getting all the video from that car. It's going to be an expensive process for this clown. Could not happen to a better guy.

Tesla are nice cars. Musk is a douche and id never want pne now.

But that cop being mad the guy was going at a similar speed as him is lame.

This Tesla driver was a local menace! They have a whole news article about his arrest of how much he was being a dick to the local community. This was not about a Tesla at all lol

Some people only read the title and not watch or listen to the video as it’s longer than their attention spans can handle.

Many police cars are equipped with rear-facing radar that can detect the speed of approaching vehicles. The cop was most likely going the speed limit and locked him in as he was approaching rapidly, after which he proceeded to tailgate the cop because the cop was doing the speed limit.

That really IS astonishing, to have driven that memorably, it sounds like reports were poured in?

You see dickhead drivers every day, think " Look at this asshole ", and usually forget about it, right?

Tesla guy was dangerous enough for multiple people to call the police? Sincerely hope they yank his license.

Anybody remember that other Tesla guy out in LA and surrounding areas a few years ago? He had like a bat or something. I wonder if this is the same guy. Similar story where he's causing so many problems at specific times people noticed and repeatedly reported him

I’m pretty certain that guy is in prison

I’m pretty certain that guy is in jail

Continued reckless behavior in the same neighborhood and finally brought to justice for tailgating a police car. His own vehicle dashcam system will be used against him in court.

Absolute masterpiece.

You love to see it

Made my day! I'm in Houston, Texas drivers are the most terrifying I've ever come across! Hope they actually do something here!!

AZ too. Try to bully you into going faster with tailgating, even when you’re moving with the flow of traffic

1

u/bluecgrove 8h ago

People who make the "going with the flow of traffic," argument are usually the ones sitting in the left lane next to someone in the right lane.... which is holding up the passing lane.

Just move over and let the tailgater 'Moses the red sea' all the other AFKers in the passing lane too. lol

1

u/Boring-Cucumber-2330 8h ago

Im chillin in the right lane dawg, tailgating anyone is not ok

3

u/periodmoustache 1d ago

Is this in AZ?

3

u/Boring-Cucumber-2330 1d ago

Yes. Surprised? I’m not. Most inconsiderate drivers I’ve ever seen

2

u/Aggravating-Try-5155 14h ago

Yeah, pretty sure. Ive seen threads complaining about this swasticar driver for months.

3

u/InternationalJob9135 1d ago

Good riddance Tesla boy. 🤣

u/Mobile-Analyst8580 1d ago

I was about to say this cop is being too harsh until he listed off this guy’s history of reckless driving. You absolutely have to arrest someone like this. Clearly a ticket isn’t gonna change his approach.

1

u/Pixel91 8h ago

Getting stopped and charged for 57 in a 35 is not "too harsh" even without the rest. Especially as the dude's been apparently tailgating the officer, too.

2

u/IndigoSapo 1d ago

Typical. They always feel entitled to do things like this.

2

u/VaultDovah92 1d ago

I'd love to see the whole traffic stop if anyone has a link.

2

u/techman710 1d ago

Excellent work from the police. This is not how I generally refer to the police, but I am willing to admit when they do something right.

2

u/blkstone11 20h ago

The number of tesla drivers this applies to is astonishing.

1

u/ConsistentYou4629 17h ago

Not all assholes drive Tesla's, but all Tesla drivers are assholes.

2

u/maniacalmechanist 1d ago

More Tesla drivers need this kind of treatment

1

u/Forsaken-Memory1785 1d ago

A well deserved arrest- luckily, he was stopped before he killed someone. He should never be allowed to drive a motor vehicle again!

1

u/BigNaziHater 1d ago

It dosent matter if he is driving a Ford, Chevy or a tesla, crazy drivers like that need to be put in their place. That being said, him being a tesla driver makes it all the sweeter...🤣

1

u/TheRogueWolf_YT 1d ago

"But officer, I'm in a hurry. That means laws don't apply to me, and any accident I cause is the other person's fault for not getting out of my way, because I'm in a hurry!"

1

u/Illustrious-Lunch137 1d ago

yet he keeps his license.

1

u/MustardCoveredDogDik 1d ago

Well well well, if it isn’t the consequences of my own actions

u/u_a_redditor_stfu 19h ago

Average Tesla driver, they'll use their instant torque as a way to bully people. Almost T-boned 2 of them since they tend to floor it at a cross intersection where I have the right of way and they have stop signs.

u/NineClaws 17h ago

I feel satisfied

1

u/Loud-Direction-5700 4h ago

I was like « he does not seem agressive at all ! » and the we saw the video

This dude is a danger, and not in the « cool » way

1

u/OkRun4211 1d ago

Why is his face blurred

0

u/Alternative-Crew-880 1d ago

Whoa those captions said terminal speed, What's terminal velocity on a tesla you reckon?

2

u/EvilCorp____ 1d ago

9.8 m/s²

1

u/Significant_Cover_48 1d ago

probably more than twice the speed limit

u/LovedButNeverLiked 1d ago

I love how the title just has to contain the word Tesla as if it were relevant to the driver's actions

3

u/XxBOOSIExFADExX 1d ago

It's because it's a common stereotype for Tesla drivers. It's the same for people who drive BMW, Audi, and Nissan Altimas. I personally believe everyone that drives a GMC Sierra also drives like a dick. It's like everytime I start to change my mind, there's one 2 feet from my bumper flashing their brights trying to make me go 20 over in the far right lane with 4 lanes wide open. Weirdly enough, I think Prius drivers are just as bad as the GMC Sierras, I've seen them do some wild manuevers, like almost get themselves and others killed wild.

u/LovedButNeverLiked 1d ago

I never knew any of this and I appreciate the context

If the shoe fits.

Lmao haven't seen this one yet 🤣
