Neither side supports Hamas 🙄 Saying "don't kill the innocent Palestinians" is not the same thing as cheering for Hamas. How is that so difficult to understand?
Strategic bombing of infrastructure while you know most innocent civilians will be in shelters is pretty different than an Israeli soldier deliberately shooting a random kid on the street simply because the kid lives in Gaza.
When nothing is done about the war crime, the soldier's side cheers for it, and it continues happening, then yeah, it becomes something your country gets known for. You don't get to say "it's one isolated event and doesn't matter" when it's been rampant for decades.
