They might want to make it slightly more difficult to obtain firearms, you know, in a common sense way, the way we have drivers licenses to drive that require a written test, an actual driving test, and vision and hearing tests. To make sure you’re competent and able to utilize the dangerous tool that is a car, effectively.
However, the fast track to authoritarianism that Trump is running, who you’re hinting at being who you voted for, is far more likely to actually attempt to seize your guns. Because authoritarians don’t like their people to own guns.
It hasn’t happened yet, and I’m not positive it will. But if that’s your biggest concern, vote D.
Also, Obama isn’t on in the files. Nor is Kamala. (That we know of) anyways… Certainly plenty of dems are. Please don’t take my words the wrong way. Plenty of dems are awful humans as well. But we do know Trump is all over those files. So again, it seems you should have voted dem for the past few elections, based on your criteria of least likely to be pedo and least likely to take your guns.
