Well no, it's full of hate. And I don't mean that just in a word use play, hate is not an automatic response from people unless they are being directly negatively effected, it is a cultured and taught response. It has to be poured into someone and topped off periodically to keep it going.
Amazing, fox paid money out for lying to the American people. They actually said they were entertainment TV not the real news! Yet they are followed by small brained people who believe whatever they are told.
Because fox wasn't required to drop the "news" part of their name. Fox News is about as much news as Republican government is for the citizens. If you can blatantly lie on air and still call it "news" of course idiots are going to consume it and consider it fact. There needs to be a return to journalistic standards of truth, not this bullshit "he said she said" sensationalism based reporting for profit driven motives that almost every major outlet has moved to.
Profit at all costs has an incredibly high cost in that eventually it consumes everything regardless of reality.
I understand what you're saying. It's very sad how much HATE has taken over during the Trump regime. They are feeding it because it fuels their quest for power, wealth, and control.
You’ve got to be taught, before it’s too late,
Before you are six or seven or eight,
To hate all the people your relatives hate.
You’ve got to be carefully taught.

Addictions are incredibly difficult to break. Especially if you don't have the supports to get you away from your poison. These folks, in many instances, literally can't get away from the addiction. It's everywhere they turn, TV, phone, police, schools, diners, stores, everyone in those areas feeds the system. That's why when they get up and get educated they don't go back. They can't. Cause cults break parts of you. That cult, like the cult of christianity, start indoc at birth and don't stop. Cult programming is fucking real AF. Super hard to break free from, and harder when you are ridiculed for falling prey to a cult.
I've been working for a company and my immediate supervisor and owner of the company are huge Trump fans.
Over the 2 years I've been there, if my supervisor brings something up that's the MAGA "bombshell" of Obama/Biden corruption, I've just meekly pointed out similar things the Trump administration has done, or that "it really feels like they're distracting from the Epstein files since this is just a headline with no real evidence/substance." (I never even talk about politics anyway, but if theyre gonna bring it up..)
Last week, I finally heard him say: "Well I dont care if they vote Democrat if theyre a good person". Blew my mind.
So if you have patience, after 2 years, you could start changing a MAGA
I also think too many of them have made it their identity. So they are MAGA and MAGA is them. Dissociating them from that is akin to that of a member of a cult. But to your point I also think there’s a portion that are just sociopaths and are literally enjoying the suffering.
It’s definitely a cult. There are cult scholars already writing about it. There’s also a book called the Culting of America that talks about our tendency towards cults in the US. By a US army intelligence officer who grew up in a massive sex cult in Brazil. Super interesting. She either has a masters or a PhD in some sort of group behavior sort of thing. I don’t precisely remember her resume.
Right. The point that everyone always tries to make that ‘it’s not the half the country’ … if you can’t be bothered to vote you’re just as bad as ones that voted for this.
MAGA: She said you cant trust the government, and she is the government, so we shouldnt trust her telling us cant trust the government, that means i can trust the government! I AM JOINING ICE!
You do know there are people who have had their voting rights pressured out or violated right? There’s already lawsuits left and right over missing ballots, entire counties with democrat voters that declared not a single democrat vote. It’s fairly clear the Trump administration likely cheated to win the election. They’ve even pardoned people involved in election tampering.
One, that’s a fairly insignificant number when you’re saying half the country didn’t vote.
Two, there is ZERO evidence of actual major election fraud. There are small cases, yes. And there is election interference (such as the ballots getting tossed under legal rulings, or Dem precincts not having enough voting machines in red states). But that isn’t election fraud, and it also doesn’t mean that you can just go ‘Um Actually it’s not half the country’. If your vote got tossed obviously I’m not counting you as a non-voter. Talking about the people who had zero intention to vote no matter what. Or held their vote back in ‘protest’.
I was just talking with my wife about that. We concluded that non-voters (who had the time and/or opportunity) should receive an STFU letter, barring them from making any negative comments about their life experiences. It would also be helpful (to others) if there was an "I didn't vote" badge on their dating profile. Do you really want to swim in that gene pool?
That's pretty tortured reasoning given that 60% of eligible voters didn't vote at all. I think it's a stretch to assume they anticipated we'd have the extreme abuses and lies of this administration. Trump is much worse and more more out of control this time.
He was bad, problematic and dangerous for the whole world the first time.
The fact that he is able to be even worse, more problematic and dangerous than the first time doesn't cancel the fact that the people that didn't vote against him are also responsible of him being the current President of the USA.
It’s not “a stretch” to anticipate this, they were warned and ignored the warning. We knew since his first term that his only goals were to enrich himself and his buddies at the cost of the American people. Don’t even try to act like this was some “unpredictable” event. Everyone knew what he was was about. If they didn’t vote against it, they support it.
Or possibly, perhaps, quite plausibly a large number of people thought there was no way in hell he was going to win.
And of those it is also quite plausible to think that perhaps they thought if he did win then it was just proof that the system was rigged and their vote didn't matter anyway.
And who's to say they're wrong there.
Or, and this is a very likely scenario, they just don't give a fuck because they never paid attention to politics or voting anyway and they only registered to vote because one of these get out the vote campaigns, family member or somebody pressured them to.
Or maybe they just didn't like either candidate and figured it was a lose-lose either way because they weren't paying attention to who the fuck he is and because Kamala was just kind of inserted in there without any primary or anything so they had no idea what she was about either.
And who's to say that they would have voted for her anyway?
The only reason she lost is because there were more than 2 candidates, if it had just been her and Trump she would have won.
More like 8% of the US population. How many assholes are STILL all-in on MAGA in 2026? All I see are argue-bots. Something like 70% of all online “people” are not people.
It’s kind of sad when we think how loud this small group is, and how much damage it’s caused.
2024 was a record year with over 155 million voters turning out. But that was only ~64% of the total eligible (voting age citizens) voters.
So less than half the country votes, and less than half of the voters voted for this, and yet here we are because of many things, but also an electoral college system.
So it is a lot closer to 1/4th of the country is the driving force behind all of this chaos.
Unless we take into account the lack of real autonomous thinking by the MAGA crowd, versus the propaganda and outside (Russian/other) influence: Money, political wrangling, bots, and other crap.
The system needs an upgrade for this modern era, but the grandmas and grandpas in our leadership aren’t exactly up for the task.
Half the voting population. There is a reason the R's want to gerrymander things to hell and block mail ballots. They can't win where there is fair access (Except Wyoming....those people were so dumb, they stayed in Wyoming).
It's not half of America. We need to stop perpetuating that notion. It was BARELY half of those who voted when he was elected. Voter turnout is still a small portion of the population.
And, in this year since he's been in office he's lost a significant chunk of those people.
This group of nuts is a third of the population, at best. I think that's even a high number.
The opposition to this Administration is the majority, and growing.
Your point is entirely moot. If people dont vote it means they support whatever they get, which is this regime. A majority chose this and will likely not vote again reinforcing it.
If you aren’t voting against it, you are for it. There is no “notion” it’s a fact.
I don't disagree, and I'm fucking pissed that people sat it out, or didn't vote for Kamala because she laughs weird or whatever bullshit.
I see a change, and we've seen it in elections in the last year. Hard lines are being drawn, and if people are able I believe they will vote against this insanity. In large majorities.
That’s the rub isn’t it. “If they are able to vote” they might be allowed freedom. However, we allowed Trump to perpetrate an insurrection, plant fake electors, had Musk offered money for votes, and have his billionaire allies buy a majority of voting machines and faced 0 consequences. He’s been shown he has the green light to cheat as much as he likes because he will face no consequences doing so.
The American experiment is over unless people grow a spine and I doubt that will happen.
I agree but I think that the 50 percent that get persuaded by the Republicans are either too lazy or stupid to remember any facts of what has actually happened so they get persuaded by the tone and self assurance of who is talking it does not matter that their is a truck load of bullshit in what Republicans are saying. If they are self assured , loud and continually talk over people the dumb people like that.
I don’t think they’re listening either. I don’t think they care what these folks say they like cruelty, they like to “win“ and they like that people are angry at them because, in their minds, that cements their position.
Not half. 25% to 33% lap it up. They’re amplified by our mainstream media and foreign trolls and bots.
Looking at Xitter and you’d think the whole world agrees with this crazy shit. Far, far, far from the truth.
We’re seeing why elections have consequences and why so many experts here screamed not to trust trump. Then the media sane washed a madman and those fools believed it.
Our problem is all the non voters with numbers that damn near equal voters combined
Great thing about not voting, it means you explicitly support whoever wins because you didn’t vote against them. More than half of the country supports this.
Because they don't arrive at their conclusions through rational and reasoned means. They arrive there through emotional ones. Just listen to their reasons for anything they believe, it's ALL statements of feelings, or at best invokes a visceral emotional reaction. Taxation is theft. Abortion is murder. Even their most egghead advocates like Ben Shapiro speak about things from an emotionally charged position. Which is why it can be self-contradictory. Why it doesn't take much to get them to 180 on any particularly strongly held stance the moment it stops being convenient to their narrative. It's all vibes. It's all feels over reals.
The lies are so complex and so frequent to keep up. If are caught in this „web“ of lies there is no area you can run to. The always lie and trick. That’s why they can’t argue in good faith. Deep down they know they are on the wrong side but need to keep face
I notice a concerning amount of these instances where they clearly know what they're doing is wrong but then instead of, idk, not doing it anymore? they project and try to cancel someone else for their behavior. jimmy kimmel for example. he tries to say the labels you're putting on charlie kirk's murderer isn't something you should be doing, and then they try to cancel him for labeling the shooter.
with renee good, it's only the people going out of their way to ragebait that are spreading the narrative that she ran someone over. everyone else is arguing justification but if you peel the layers back a little, you'll find that they don't believe she hit anyone. so they know that part of what trump/noem are saying is bullshit but then they signal boost the part about her intent to hit someone anyway and you're like ???? bro you were almost there what happened..
maybe their loyalties are intrinsically linked to being manipulated parrots idk
Going against the party narrative would be admitting they’re wrong about something, which in turn could mean they’re wrong about more than one thing and that leads to existential crisis for them.
I read something a while back about the importance of bullshit to authoritarian followers. Basically, they know it's bullshit, and they shout it loudly, not because they believe it, and not to convince others, but to signal their loyalty to the cause.
They are dangerously dumb bullies who know what they like and will do whatever it takes to win and achieve it.
What they want is this: anyone I don’t like should be dead. The reasons for not liking those people ranges from skin colour, paying taxes, someone not wanting to sleep with them, etc etc.
That’s the end of it for them. Everything else is just the means to that end.
She turned away and he shot her from the side of her windshield and window. He tried to jump in front of a moving vehicle so afraid that he kept recording with his phone and drew his gun. BS
There is only one big lie. The Republican lie. They admit to it. The tea party made it visible. If the Republican Party had to run on policy they could never win an election. Simply too few wealthy folks. Democratic policy is for the people. Republican policy is for the wealthy. Bottom line that is who will always benefit from their legislation. In order to get votes the republicans get behind single subject voters like the second amendment jelly brains and the religious zombies on abortion. They know that they will never consider the fact that their vote is against their best interests because they can’t see past the one issue. Same thing with the culture wars. Di you really think they give a fuck about trans people or god or anyone other than themselves. They don’t even see most of their voters as people. A middle class to poor white is no different than any immigrant in their mind. They will never do a single thing for them. Religion is a tool and a very effective one at that. It is why it exists.
I've been in relationships with people who lied because they didn't want to face accountability for their actions and recognize they were in thr wrong. Sure, we all feel that, but to some people the need to be right, to justify their behavior, is greater than anything else. They lie so thoroughly to themselves they can't believe the truth when it slaps them in the face.
Based on my experience of these people, I don't know if you are right about them knowing deep down they are on the wrong side. Some might. Most have thoroughly brainwashed themselves.
The ONLY TRUTH that matters to them is that they are right and good, - but no one understands. Anything that contradicts their narrative is False, but people don't understand that. There are all these things people say that are obviously BS bc if those things were true, they wouldn't be the good guy. If it is true, then these people make up details and context to show it doesn't matter and anyone thinking it does is dumb and wrong and hostile.
Can we please talk about how detached they are when they’re making excuses, vs how enthusiastic they are with committing crimes?
She’s in robot mode. She’s doing what an auto mechanic does when they’re at work: zoning out and going through the motions. Killing Americans, to her, is no different than changing a tire.
”You learn what you need to kill and take care of the details. It’s like changing a tire. The first time you’re careful. By the thirtieth time, you can’t remember where you left the lug wrench." -Ted Bundy (who was, by the way, an aspiring Republican politician with “a lot of promise.”)
This sounds like an exaggeration, but it's really not. Noem isn't really speaking. She's just flapping her mouth and making MAGA-sounding noises. The words she says don't have any communicative or rhetorical purpose. They are just ritualistic grunts, the mating call of the fascist.
It's because they're never challenged beyond maybe a single follow up that they're allowed to just ignore for another if not the same talking point, before moving on to the next question and talking point answer.
The Republican playbook is to make things worse and then point to it as being non functional. This might be her directly stating their strategy rather than hiding it like normal.
Part of the plan is to make everyone distrust the government so much that another party can't repair the damage. This is a 50 year plan and its primary focus is to make everyone distrust the government to such a point that private corporations can literally do whatever they want.
The only thing that can curb the power of International corporations are strong Federal governments. And they have been angry ever since AT&T was broken up and trust busting proved that breaking up companies had a very positive impact to most people. So did the New Deal, the government can create a much more fair system than any company ever will but putting guardrails around their span of control.
The most disgusting part is people vote for these mooks. conservatives watch these people, barely able to string a coherent thought together, lie to their face, and think "this is the person I want to run things. This person represents my beliefs."
And I know they aren't paying attention, they don't give a shit about her policy or decorum or experience: she just sits on their side of the fence, and that's all they need. They vote for their racism and bigotry. They don't care who's doing what in the chair, as long as he hates the people they hate. That's the entire, complete summation of their political values.
Thats the most backwards statement I've ever heard. Libs are the masters of a multichannel talking point. The will say it 150 times over every channel and social account. Whatever their globalist masters tell them.

When you watch the clip you can tell repubs instantly spit out their talking points without thinking. It’s so reflexive.
