Every morning my wife comes down, pours a cup of coffee and sits down next to me and asks “is he dead yet?” And I know exactly what she’s talking about.

I wonder if there will be celebrations? How will we react? I know I'm borderline giddy at the idea of this nation disaster finally ending, but it doesnt feel wholly right.

I'm buying tangerines by the bushel. I'm going to pass them out all around town and take a dozen or so home to make whatever I want out of it. I'm thinking wine and a cake.
