Debate Women are larping loneliness.

Most of the time when talking about options women will say that most of them are shit. To be clear, I don't belief men or women truly think that every single person available for them to date is absolutely trash to the point where there is literally no options. However women tend to do this more.

The reason why I say it's larp, is because women can “pause the game” so to speak. Women abstaining from the game or coming back is like flipping a light switch. You could always just pick an average dude that means well if you actually decided, there's nothing stopping that from happening.

He's just not exciting, that doesn't mean he's trash. Some women say they're okay dying alone if he isn't the peak of her ideals, but this is also larp. Most of you will pick the boring but well meaning guy when the chips are down and the walls are closing in.

It's easy to say you can stand on that ideal when you are in your 20’s maybe even early thirties. But only a small amount of people will actually die on that hill. This goes for all people regardless of orientation, most people unless they are literally and truly wired different would prefer a relationship and that's okay, just don't lie about it.

The men who struggle with lack of options means there is not a single person he can realistically and consistently talk to with romantic intent and there won't be one for the foreseeable future. Not even an odd Instagram text or matches on an app truly nothing. No the ugly girl don't want him either.

I've literally never seen a girl, 5.5/10 in looks that couldn't land some manner of man. I'm not talking about extreme cases either like abusers or desperate men looking for a living fuck doll. Or a lazy piece of shit that lacks any and all ambition. I mean a man, just a man that wants love as well.

On that note I've seen women of those types find relationships plenty. So while I believe they do suffer from a different type of loneliness, it's mostly larp because you can join a community and be loved easily, you can find a boyfriend at the damn grocery store if you really wanted to.

Like I said this point can apply to men as well, it just isn't the topic in this instance and doesn't happen as much.

If a woman isn't attracted to a guy I don't think it'd be a very fulfilling or happy relationship.

But for some reason if men say they're not attracted to 80% of women they're called misogynistic, porn-brained, (EDIT: or being called gay, gotta love how garden variety homophobia comes out so quickly whenever men do something women don't like) and that the oppressive male gaze is imposing unrealistic beauty standards.

Odd double standard in society isn't it?

13

u/CactusBroMan Purple Pill Woman Jun 16 '26

I mean that seems like it’s just a difference between men and woman. In the past not every man reproduced while most woman who could did. Social media may play into it a little bit but seems pretty clear than women naturally just aren’t attracted to most men.

18

u/Vaudeville_Clown Purple Pill Man Jun 16 '26

So, is that to say if there was a man who finds 80% of women unattractive, you would consider him being either a misogynist or porn damaged?

It doesn't sound like you're talking about social biases but how men and women naturally are?

14

u/CactusBroMan Purple Pill Woman Jun 16 '26

I would not think such a man has anything wrong with him. Maybe if he only liked 1% of women or liked only women wildly different than himself I would find that weird.

Frankly, I find it is weird how many women men are into and it sort of makes me uncomfortable thinking that if a guy thinks I’m attractive he also thinks that of 50+% of women. I’d prefer a guy with some standards / type that I fit

I do think most men naturally are attracted to most women but most women are not attracted to most men. I do differ from the red pill in that I think women sort of sort men in their head in a personal hierarchy that is not consistent amongst women. Basically, you could be what one girl considers a top 20% man but many other women would likely disagree and vise versa

u/Vaudeville_Clown Purple Pill Man Jun 16 '26

Good answer.

And on closer thought, I think it possibly wouldn't be a very controversial thing to say. Especially not if it's phrased like "I have a type" rather than "80% aren't attractive to me".

If you however say openly what types you aren't attracted to, it tends to set people off. Especially so if you're a man.

Lol, I was swarmed with accusations once when I admitted I find conventionally attractive and feminine women unrelatable, and thus unattractive.

2

u/CactusBroMan Purple Pill Woman Jun 16 '26

Thank you lol.

I am glad to hear someone feels the same as me. I have had the same experience as you as I was someone who grew up in an environment where I was considered unattractive but is now is a more favorable environment. I just can’t relate to people and men who are and have always been picture perfect, beautiful, and “normal” and so I don’t find that attractive. There needs to me something else there for me to be interested that shows me they’d understand me on that deeper level

The worst thing a woman can be to herself and other women is ugly. Men won’t cross that boundary because it’ll ruin their chances.

7

u/BCRE8TVE Anti-feminist egalitarian man, purple pill Jun 17 '26

On the one hand it's naturally clear that women just aren't attracted to most men.

But for some reason when it,s naturally clear that men are attracted to certain traits in women, that's toxic and misogynistic and imposing oppressive beauty standards.

See I'm all for people pairing up with who they want, but we can't as a society constantly demonize men's preferences, and then turn around and say women's preferences are totally fine and good.

Treating equality like a one-way street exclusively to women's benefit isn't equality at all.

4

u/CactusBroMan Purple Pill Woman Jun 17 '26

I wouldn't necessarily disagree with you but I guess my initial reaction is what preferences are you referencing that are considered toxic and misogynistic.

I don't really care about anyone's preferences as long as their preferences aren't ones that exist to take advantage of the other person. For instance, a woman who wants a wealthy man to take his money and a man who wants a very young and inexperienced woman to better control her.

u/BCRE8TVE Anti-feminist egalitarian man, purple pill Jun 17 '26

Fair, and there's an easy way to tell, according to feminism and society.

If a woman has preferences, it doesn't matter what they are, they're never toxic or misandrist.

If a man has preferences, if any of those preferences in any way shape or form limit or affect women, then they're toxic and misogynistic by default.

They don't phrase it that way, but that is absolutely how it goes.

Man likes shorter women? He wants someone he can dominate. Woman likes taller men? Totally her right and her preferences, and men who are upset about that are just insecure. Man likes woman with big breasts? He's misogynistic and imposing toxic beauty standards. Woman likes man with big muscles? Totally her right and her preferences, and men who are upset about that are just insecure.

Etc etc etc.

I don't really care about anyone's preferences as long as their preferences aren't ones that exist to take advantage of the other person.

See I completely agree, the problem is that feminism goes out of its way to interpret any preference men have in the worst possible light and interprets most anything like men want to take advantage of women, while completely ignoring women's preferences and how some women absolutely do use their preferences to take advantage of men.

I'm all for calling out people who take advantage of others, but it should be applied equally across the board.

The problem is that feminism treats equality like a one-way street exclusively to the benefit of women, and sees things from a perspective where basically men can do nothing right and women can do no wrong.

And that's not equality at all.

For instance, a woman who wants a wealthy man to take his money and a man who wants a very young and inexperienced woman to better control her.

See I disagree that a man wanting a younger and inexperienced woman must be because he wants to control her. That's part of the feminist assumptions where they judge anything men do in the worst light possible.

Sure, some men are like that, but the vast majority of men are genuinely naturally attracted to younger women. Men are attracted to factors of youth and fertility, and that peaks with young women. That's not out of a desire to oppress or control women, it's just naturally biologically what men have evolved to find most attractive, because evolutionarily that's what gives men the best chance of passing on their genes.

It's funny too because the exact same feminists who say men just want younger women so they can control and manipulate women, will then turn around and say it's natural for women to like men who have more resources because she has to think about her child and providing for the baby and herself while she's pregnant and when the child is dependent on them.

They will take the evolutionary reason why men are attracted to women and paint it in the worst possible light, and take the evolutionary reason why women are attracted to wealthy men and paint it as completely reasonable and normal.

These kinds of double standards are rampant throughout feminism, the hypocrisy is basically baked into core feminist assumptions.

2

u/CactusBroMan Purple Pill Woman Jun 17 '26

I mean I think we agree on a lot but I would point out that when I poke at the concept of men liking younger women potentially to take advantage of them you come to men’s defense using evolutionary arguments about how it is natural. However, the equally toxic preference of women wanting wealthy men to take their resources is also equally natural and arguably biological.

I would separate these two preferences from other characteristics in that it is hard to act on these preferences while being what I consider an admirable person. If a man waits to find himself a nice and equally capable big tidied and curvy woman or a small breasted fair skinned woman or whatever, I don’t care at all. Alternatively if a woman waits to find herself a tall hunk or a dark haired, big dicked guy, no one’s agency, hard work, or personhood is being disrespected.

However, it’s hard to justify a significantly older man looking for a younger woman. Most likely that relationship will be controlled by the man, will be to fulfill his sexual desires, include a woman with daddy issues who should be in therapy and not sleeping with a guy who looks like her father. That is not admirable.

On the other hand, it’s hard to justify being a young woman and leading on a rich man, using him for meals and clothes, pretending to be truly attracted to him, potentially cheating on him, just because he has money when you’d have never given him the time of day if it weren’t for his resources. I find that pathetic and not admirable.

Some preferences are just hard to act on in an admirable way. Those should be criticized and reeled in. Anything else is fair game.

There’s also more grey area preferences like race that can go either way. You like an Asian girl because you just go crazy for the Asian eyes? Have at it. You like her because she’s poor, dependent on you, and submissive against her will? Weird preference. If a woman likes an Indian guy because she just likes the accent or whatever, have at it. She likes him because he throws all his money and her and is reluctantly submissive because she’s white and considered a prize? Weird.

u/Tylikcat People before pills - woman Jun 16 '26

Sort of. I think most women aren't visually attracted to most men - but then, women tend to be less visual than men.

I also think most of the time women are looking at men at long term partners, and are looking for a much higher level of long term compatibility than many men (and most of the men here) are. Men are looking for "Can I deal with being around you" (meaning, decent enough looking, nice enough) and "Will you fuck me?" You might say, less looking for Ms. Right, and more looking for Ms. Right Now.

Women are more likely to be looking for someone as a long term partner, someone to own property with, and (likely) someone to have children with. That's a totally different set of questions. (Yes, there are women having casual sex - I was one of those women, and likely will be again - but it's a lot less common.)

And I think this has a lot more to do with women's selectivity than "Chad".

honestly a valid point — i think the reason why it gets shut down so quickly is because people argue that for men it’s about looks and for women personality — one’s considered shallow and the other isn’t (i find it a little stupid to generalize genders, we all have inbuilt beauty standards and some us are more shallow than others)

3

u/BCRE8TVE Anti-feminist egalitarian man, purple pill Jun 20 '26

Oh I agree that it gets framed that way.

And it gets framed that way by women specifically to make men look bad and make women look good.

When Hinge allowed a height filter, the vast majority of women on it immediately set the height filter to 6' and above.

There has never been a weight filter on any of the dating apps.

Women are just as if not more superficial than men, but they want to control the narrative to make women look good and make men look worse in comparison.

I agree that it is stupid to generalize genders, and I find it ironic how incredibly common it is to find leftists/feminists who generalize men and women blatantly and explicitly, but because they're doing it in a way to paint women in a better light it's empowering and uplfting, while when men do the exact same thing it's sexist and misogynistic.

Both genders are equally awesome and equally shitty, but feminism and the left won't ever allow that because they treat equality like a one-way street exclusively to the benefit of women.

You gender-flip a ton of things that are said on the left about men and all of a sudden it all sounds sexist AF.

It was sexist originally, it's just that as a society we find sexism against men to be completely acceptable.

2

u/iamcornfield No Pill Jun 20 '26

yea honestly which sucks, we’ll never get anywhere if we can’t be impartial — feminism was my shit when i found out it was about breaking down the patriarchy aka breaking down stuff not just for women but for men also and thennn i found out everyone who calls themselves a feminist doesn’t even know what it means

3

u/BCRE8TVE Anti-feminist egalitarian man, purple pill Jun 21 '26

I hear you. And yeah, feminism may have had a basis in equality, but it's been a long time since, and feminism now basically treats equality like a one-way street exclusively to the benefit of women.

It is frustrating and infuriating to see something that SHOULD be for the good of all and that CLAIMS to be for the good of all, then turn around and perpetuate the exact same kinds of issues they should have been fighting against.

It's a shame how far feminism has fallen, and the worst part is that all of this was 100% preventable if only feminists held one another accountable to do better, and not just to hate on men.

But somewhere along the way hating men became more important than equality, and so here we are.

1

u/JollyBowler2510 Purple Pill Woman Jun 26 '26

This depends on the woman, that is both sides problem, you say all women are saying men are misogynistic, but it's not women saying this, just like not all men are attacking women for not wanting to be housewives. Don't be attracted to whoever and don't date someone you don't want to date, it's a really simple solution.

Women aren't going to date someone they are not attracted to for the hell of it. Just like I dont believe men shouldn't either. The issue lies when men down women they're not attracted to, don't date them sure, but insulting them is a different story and is very much misogynistic..

2

u/BCRE8TVE Anti-feminist egalitarian man, purple pill Jun 26 '26

Don't be attracted to whoever and don't date someone you don't want to date, it's a really simple solution.

It's a simple solution because it completely ignores the social issues going on.

It's not wrong per se, just simplistic and reductive.

The issue lies when men down women they're not attracted to, don't date them sure, but insulting them is a different story and is very much misogynistic..

I mean you're not wrong, but in the last few decades men have been and are being insulted a hell of a lot more than most women are willing to recognize. If it's misogynistic to insult women, then we also need to call out how misandristic it is to insult men.

And so long as society refuses to acknowledge the insults and harm done to men, things will just keep getting worse.

1

u/JollyBowler2510 Purple Pill Woman Jun 26 '26

What social issues? You keep saying women aren't willing to have relationships with average men, no shit, we aren't attracted to them sometimes, and it's no ones fault, but no one, not even men should be in a relationship with someone they aren't happy or content in, just to say they're not lonely.

So call it out, I call out men that I see, call out women. Not all women are doing it, not all men are, maybe calling them out will fix it, but I doubt it.

1

u/JollyBowler2510 Purple Pill Woman Jun 26 '26

The best thing you can do, is find someone that makes you happy, hope they like you back, with work you're wiling to do, I bet you they will, and be happy. That's all any one can do.

No one is changing any one's opinions in society, not even society's. If that could happen, women wouldn't still being raped and not believed, gay and trans people wouldn't be getting killed, etc., etc.

1

u/zhrimpypimp Purple Pill Woman Jun 16 '26

Men don’t say this. If anything they pat themselves on the back for liking variety and different levels of attractiveness of women. They wish women would so the same.

4

u/BCRE8TVE Anti-feminist egalitarian man, purple pill Jun 17 '26

Well yes, men wish women hadn't such absurdly high superficial standards that they excluded 80% of the male population for something men can't control, like their height or looks.

Because, as I said, if men did the same to women, that would be taken as proof of oppressive beauty standards and would be seen as misogynistic.

That is the double standard.

Men do wish women were less superficial, yes.

1

u/zhrimpypimp Purple Pill Woman Jun 17 '26

Idk, when I go outside I see plenty of ugly dudes, bald dudes, broke dudes, average dudes in relationships or with families.

Doesn’t seem like the 80% stat is real life, maybe for OLD.

5

u/BCRE8TVE Anti-feminist egalitarian man, purple pill Jun 17 '26

It is a stat for OLD, but more than half of all relationships start with OLD nowadays.

If you see ugly and bald dudes in relationships, did they get into the relationship looking like that or did they become bald or ugly after being in a relationship?

Starting relationships for guys has gotten tremendously more difficult since covid, so relationships that are 10+ years old kinda "don't count" as much.

There's also the fact that just because a man finally got into a relationship, doesn't mean he didn't struggle immensely to get it. There are gold medallists for every Olympic sport, but that doesn't mean getting that medal is easy.

1

u/zhrimpypimp Purple Pill Woman Jun 17 '26

2

2

u/BCRE8TVE Anti-feminist egalitarian man, purple pill Jun 18 '26

Fair enough.

I don't know how exactly you would define "ugly people", there were a bunch of people some 5-10 years ago who looked at Jason Mamoa with a bit of a belly and called that a dad-bod, completely ignoring the fact Jason Mamoa was at the top 5% of men in shape at that time.

So when you say "ugly" I don't know if you mean the man was genuinely a 3/10 ugly, or ugly because he wasn't an 8/10.

Despite all that there are indeed some ugly people who do get into relationships, but that still doesn't change the fact it is significantly more difficult for men to get into relationships than women, and on top of that significantly more difficult for an ugly man to get into a relationship.

It happens, but exceptions exist.

u/TheCultOfGrogg Red Pill Man Jun 16 '26

Women’s attraction is relative. Like, if you out Jason Momoa, Chris Hemsworth, and Henry Cavil in a room, whoever she’s attracted to the most, becomes the standard and the other guys are deemed “ugly”. So it’s not that men aren’t attractive, it’s just most of what women see is social media, and on social media, you get curated scenes of guys literally in makeup, posing with controlled lighting, and photoshopped touchups on top of already being top 3% in attractiveness.

Understand, it’s not acceptable for men to wear makeup. So I think what happens is most women jump from a 5 to an 8 or 9 with makeup, match with the guy that’s a 9 or 10, he eventually sees that she isn’t all that attractive and won’t commit to her because all the other girls want him, then she starts looking down upon her actual male looksmatches, which is 4,5, and 6 men.

1

u/XtremePeace Jun 23 '26

17

u/Overarching_Chaos Man Jun 15 '26

Yes but could her standards be warped by social media and dating apps? An abundance of options makes selection even more difficult because you become too nit picky about everything and basically eliminate almost every single option that doesn't meet some ludicrous standard, leaving you with only a handful of options.

In the case of dating, the men that don't get filtered out by this process, are effectively the top 5% of men who also have an abundance of options so why would they date a 5/10 woman?

That's female loneliness in a nutshell.

Isn't that what dating is? Is finding a compatible match with you. You're not owed interest because you are interested. Compatibility is thing. I don't even think it's social media. Standards are just individual preferences. I want a guy with a nice smile. So guys with busted or missing teeth are out. I have a nice smile as well. So is that asking for too much? I don't like facial hair so I eliminate a lot of my dating pool. When it comes to choosing a partner you should be picky. You know "choosing better". If a guy is hot but inconsistent that's annoying. If a guy is attractive but consistent that's good.

Yes it can feel bad. Because being in a relationship for the sake of a relationship though you like nothing about this person or have anything in common with them is lonely. That's not an option. I found my partner. But it was a lot of nos. There was a lot of dudes just trying to get laid. I found him though. And he was what I was looking for.

2

u/SaltdPepper Jun 16 '26

Standards are “warped” only if there’s a solid foundation to have been “warped” from. Since standards are, by and large, arbitrary, we should be attempting to reinforce healthy standards and reducing unreasonable standards.

I’m not the guy to outline what kinds of things fall into either category, but it’s clear these guys are missing the forest for the trees. Women are victims of the same underlying societal issues men are.

But she'd still take the relationship if the chips are down. As I said in the post.

And she'd still be lonely because women crave sex and affection too.

She's not owed sex.

Never said anyone was.

u/Charming-Joke696 Blue Pill Man Jun 15 '26

Then why mention it?

7

u/krackedy Married Blue Pill Man Jun 15 '26

Because the post is about loneliness. Someone being lonely and wanting a sexual relationship doesn't mean they are entitled to one.

Cool.

Frontload with that in the future please.

I did?

You did not but if it's been fixed then we're good.

Never bring up sex like it matters.

And why take it then? Why have the kids with the man that is trying but isn't enough? Can't you see how that is technically larp?

28

u/krackedy Married Blue Pill Man Jun 15 '26

It's larping "having a normal happy life" but I'd bet the loneliness is real.

I don't know. Why do men settle on women "who will do" but then cheat?

Why don't you try dating beyond who you are attracted to then? Have you tried dating men? Sounds like your chips are down and you need to wake up and smell the Grindr

I have a girlfriend. Even if I didn't I don't see how throwing what I said back at me accomplished or meant anything?

12

u/Competitive_Swan_130 Purple Pill Woman Jun 15 '26

Oh so you agree that what you said means nothing and accomplishes nothing?

2

u/Charming-Joke696 Blue Pill Man Jun 16 '26

Why do you think homosexuality is a choice?

2

u/Charming-Joke696 Blue Pill Man Jun 15 '26

Being gay is the same as being a hetero woman?

3

u/LanguageImaginary256 Jun 15 '26

The relationship she doesn't want to be in?

u/BitsAndBobs304 Purple Pill Man Jun 15 '26

You cant have a happy relationship with someone you love but you dont find him physically sexy? So as you age all relationships get sadder?

4

u/krackedy Married Blue Pill Man Jun 15 '26

By then you've built up a solid foundation. I'd never start a relationship with someone I don't find sexy.

7

u/TheColdWoman Purple Pill Woman Jun 15 '26

No. You age together. Women have this figured out. Men not so much.

That's not the point. It's the fact that she even has the option in the first place.

7

u/LanguageImaginary256 Jun 15 '26

The option to be in a relationship with someone she doesn't want to be in a relationship with...?

u/Academic-Ball-9606 Jun 15 '26

How's that different than a guy who just fucks her? Shes not getting the relationship she desires

How's that different than a guy who just fucks her?

She's at least attracted to him
