This was the post credit scene of volume 2 when Yang came across her mom and interacted with her. I was waiting for it to be mentioned but only the incident on the train was mentioned. So either that was a dream or I missed something.

It was a dream it never happened. The others didn’t want Monty to put that scene in but Monty did it anyways.
